Balanced briefing. Another component for the western US and Pacific tributaries is salmon and steelhead spawning runs. In northern CA, Oregon and Washington, there are efforts to remove dams that have limited access to historical spawning tributaries. Dams that have been removed, show pretty immediate access from salmon transiting upstream to spawn. This is exciting to observe. Still, the question remains, what is the balance? Thanks for the daily briefing. It is making a difference.
