This theme fucked me up as a kid. Every time I watched any old Disney/Pixar movies(that weren't super old back then), I always ran out the room in terror when this started playing. I'm almost 18 now and not as scared of it anymore, but to me from at least 10 years back, this was like Silent Hill: P.T.

I used to get scared of THX because my dad always watches TV with the sound up loud connected to a stereo system. I used to have to sleep in the living room and get woken up by either an Emergency Alert System test (sometimes a weather warning) or either the f*cking THX logo when a DVD, Blu-ray or VHS gets played

I don’t know why, but I have this weird thing almost every time I go to bed. It goes like this: When I get into bed, I cover my ears with my duvet. I think it’s a sort of game I play at bedtime where I pretend the duvet is really good protection against things that appear on the TV when it’s turned off. THX Broadway is often what I imagine appearing on the TV screen when it’s dark.
