2:03, many moments in game like that, ready to counter, but doesn't register, super RNG :P Yeah they don't always trigger though. It's hit and miss i've noticed. Last boss is a pain in the ass for Mikiri counters. RT and talented best bang for buck. Resets enemy counter response for more hits. Enjoy man, super clean fight

Completely believe this game could have been far bigger than much more successful if it had a big company backing it. This game was amazingly done, had a lot of fun with it. Was sad to see it end so soon. Urd is such a cool character and the fight was excitingly challenging my first run.

The biggest problem is just how short it is, make it 3 times longer (it around 4 - 5 hours if you 100% everything) then you’d have a super success

Another masterful performance! After you've done the initial no-hit runs, will you consider doing spectacle battles like what you've been doing with Elden Ring? The game's Plague Weapon system and Reaved Weapons allows for the potential for some flash cinematic sequences. As for the game itself, I'm impressed. The combat is clearly Sekiro inspired, but I think they did a great job innovating on it and adding their own mechanics. Having the juggle various resources such as your own plauge energy, the enemy's Wounds, and their Health, along with Reaving etc has been fun. There are no overly complicated or wasted mechanics, I would describe it as polished. Though for me personally, one of the more notable things is that they have a "meaningful" talent tree that you can use to directly change your playstyle based on what suits you. For example, an expert parry master and choose Reckless Parry to capitalize on their skills. On the other hand you can choose "Defense Stance" for a more traditional block. Or you can go all in on dogeing. This ability to change up your playstyle is like a soft-difficulty modifier, and imo one of the better ways to implement difficulty into games.

i think the feather mechanic is pointless. I didnt invest a single point into it, and if your up in the enemies face most of the time, the jump attack is clearly superior as you can see in this video. You get a free claw attack out of it too.

Ongbal tomorrows vid/ monday should be Mutated Odur no damage You have to do all 4 small quests for the circus map ( they unlock one after. another respectively speaking) i assume you are probably a low level, and hes very tanky early into game but has beautiful attack combos… seems like a challenge ( easy for u) up ur street!

I really like the idea they had going, but is it just me that finds it a bit weird that there's subtitles but there's no voice actor? Its missing a bit of that grandness to the phase transition for me. The girl grunts when she gets hit, so I'm not sure if thats downloaded off somewhere or they just didn't ask the voice actor to do it

@@oncrack1533 Honestly, yeah! I wouldn't mind if they kept the same mechanics. A game has done well when the biggest complaint is that it's too short. It would be a waste if we don't get some DLC with a few more bosses, but I'm not familiar with the economic side of things. It's a huge shame but the reality is that content based expansions have the lowest effort to reward ratio. It's no wonder many devs are pushing shit tier micro transactions and loot boxes.

I don't need that. endgame boss: still at starting health. what a badass lol And here i am, being a pleb with 454 XD Nice, fucking beat her on first try after watching this. going full deflect, no dodge, no saber attacks is for sure the way to go here. before i was doing a mix of dodging,deflecting and saber attacks but she seems dodge endlessly if you do that and all the claw attacks just dont hit because shes just dodge spamming everywhere. satisfying when she does 3 criticals in a row and the jump claw attack is super nice. Thanks Ongbal!

The game is not fully voice acted. The most you can get is battle oriented voices, like battle cries or grunts. Everything else is on subtitle only. Guess they didn't have the budget.

So I’m assuming that the claw attack that does daddy damage you can only do after reflecting an attack Nioh 2 has a similar mechanic called burst counter where you parry an attack using a demon ability to do both health and Ki(stamina) damage

no, the claw does wound damage, the green bar. saber attacks lower health, but leave wounds which you need to widdle down with claw attacks. You can do it at anytime. It's just not noticable here since he's relying solely on deflecting which pretty much does the same thing as saber attacks.

I mean, it was definitely watchable even to someone who has no idea whats going on, but I dont feel like playing the game after watching bc I want my character to be bad ass.
