It would be a less credible than to say my house came about over eons of time thanks to undirected processes where trees miraculously appeared, then chopped their own lumber to precise measurements. Then window, plumbing, and electrical factories appeared(obviously without design and management) and contrary to the survival of the fittest believe, chose to aid in constructing my house with necessary utilities to specific measurements of its own unique design. I'm sure you as well as everyone who claims evolution as fact has their reason for doing so, yet without cold unbiased study, one cannot arrive at the appropriate conclusion. I was once swayed by the likes of Dawkins myself, but then I started listening to other professionals, many among the evolutionist ranks and views shifted, especially since something that's praised as fact, had so many fallacies in it's hypothesised conception. In conclusion, I respect the decision everyone has to believe what they choose, but when I see something so counterintuitive as this theory praised as fact on some peaceful comment thread I lose patience. I haven't been to a medical doctor in over 50 years. I was born in 1937. But, I do follow the immense body of information on the web in places like KZbin with Dr. Berg. I also take many supplements, don't use alcohol, don't smoke or use drugs, and eat one small meal each day. Our bodies are complex biological machines, but that doesn't mean anyone with average intelligence can't accumulate enough information about how their own bodies work, to be able to maintain it themselves At 84, I'm still happily alive and well. I believe any human being needs to take the responsibility of the workings of their own bodies into their own hands. There are exceptions to this life philosophy of course. Accidents would be the main exception... broken bones, auto accidents, etc. put any human in another ball game.

Immunologist Maria de Sousa died last Tuesday night in intensive care at Hospital São José, victim of covid-19 and after a week in hospital. Maria de Sousa noticed the organized migration of lymphocytes, cells of the immune system, and today she has her name for her discovery in any manual on the immune system. Maria de Sousa was born in Lisbon in 1939. After graduating in medicine in 1963, from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, she began her career dedicated to scientific research. England, Scotland, United States and Portugal - this way you can draw in broad strokes the scientific geography of your life. Between 1964 and 1966, she was at the Experimental Biology Laboratories at Mill Hill, London, with a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It was in London that she made a great discovery that can be found today in any immunology manual. Until 1964, it was thought that all types of lymphocytes - cells of the immune system fundamental in combating diseases and infections - came from the thymus, a gland located in the chest, between the external and the heart. It was also thought that, after our birth, the lymphocytes migrated from the thymus and would proliferate and mature in the peripheral lymphatic organs, such as the lymph nodes and the spleen. Maria de Sousa realized that it was not so. She experimented on mice, which were removed from the thymus shortly after birth. He then found that these mice without thymus continued, after all, to have lymphocytes in the peripheral lymphatic organs. More: he realized that in these peripheral lymphatic organs of mice lacking a thymus there were spaces left empty - that is, spaces destined precisely to the lymphocytes of the thymus. Therefore, in the peripheral lymphatic organs, there were areas for lymphocytes of the thymus (T lymphocytes) and areas for other types of lymphocytes, which were occupied by them. In other words, there were areas in the peripheral lymphatic organs dependent on the lymphocytes that migrated from the thymus. This area reserved for lymphocytes of the thymus is now known as Area T. These findings were published in the journal Journal of Experimental Medicine and in the magazine Nature, respectively in January and December 1966. The title of the first scientific article with the discoveries of Maria de Sousa is precisely “Thymus-dependent areas in the lymphatic organs in newly born timectomized mice”. Later, in 1971, Maria de Sousa gave a name to the phenomenon of migration of lymphocytes of different origins - both from the thymus and bone marrow, where another type of lymphocyte is formed - to specific microenvironments in the peripheral lymphatic organs and there organize in well-defined areas. He called it “ecotaxis”. In short, it is a trip with a place reserved on departure. In an interview with Anabela Mota Ribeiro, published in 2014 in PÚBLICO, Maria de Sousa spoke of her discoveries related to Area T and ecotaxis. “I think everyone will know that we have lymphocytes circulating. What many will not know is that lymphocytes are not a homogeneous population, with the same homeland. Some were born in the thymus and left for circulation in the period after birth (neontal period), others outside the thymus, in the bone marrow. This distinction was not clear in 1964. It was still thought that perhaps they all came from the thymus ”, he explained then. “My job consisted of looking at slides from cuts of peripheral lymphatic organs from mice that had their thymus removed in the neonatal period. My observations showed that these animals that were timectomized at birth still had lymphocytes. What’s more, the empty lymphocyte spaces were distinct from the spaces where there were lymphocytes, which meant that the cells seemed to know where to go. ” Later on, these results were demonstrated by a technique (auto-radiography) that made it possible to track radiolabeled cells. “Those from the thymus used to go to the territory that we called‘ thymus dependent area ’and which today is known as Area T. And I found this phenomenon of cells knowing where they are going so important that I named it: ecotaxis.” Maria de Sousa in May 2014 Nuno Ferreira Santos When she gave her name to the migration of lymphocytes, Maria de Sousa had already left London for Scotland, in 1967. At the University of Glasgow, she then obtained a doctorate in immunology in 1972, remaining in Scotland until 1975. From there she went to the United States - to the Sloan Kettering Institute for Cancer Research (in New York), Cornell Medical School (in New York) and Harvard Medical School (in Cambridge, Boston)....

For what it’s worth, many western doctors think of the thymus as a dead organ in older patients and will routinely remove it during heart surgeries. Those patients tend to have poor outcomes in the form of higher cancer rates, autoimmune diseases, and shortened lifespans. If you are having surgery (or anytime you’re going under anesthesia really) when they have you sign the release, take out your pen and write on it that they are not to do anything but the agreed upon procedure, then make the surgeon sign it too. All your parts are there for a reason. Even your appendix. Post menopausal women should keep your reproductive organs unless there is a very compelling reason not to, because they still participate in your endocrine system and provide a great deal of structure to your abdomen through the connective tissue. I’ve worked with so many people who have come out of surgery to be told the doctor “did them a favor” while they were in there and made an unauthorized “correction” that went on to cause a lot of problems. Another example of this is arthritis. Often the stuff that looks really bad isn’t painful at all and the arthritis that looks fairly innocuous is what causes the worst pain (endometriosis is another example of this). I once had a patient whose surgeon cleaned up some arthritis in his shoulder joint while repairing a torn bicep tendon. The bicep healed beautifully but it took us three years to restore his range of motion because of the “favor” the surgeon performed on his collar bone. I’ve seen at least a dozen unpreserved thymus glands from older donors and none of them had fatty tissue in them, they were all full of what looks like lymph or marrow.

So anyone who has an "autoimmune disease" is low on iodine? That makes sense, and is how I healed my "autoimmune disease". Iodine, along with zinc, and vitamin D. The same things that will stop the covid-19 virus. How simple once we know how our body works. Thanks!

@Pasadena sue, please would you like to share the name that vitamin brands and also how much you took?How long it took you to heal with them.I just got to know that having Autoimmune issues and really confuse what to do to heal it rather going on bunch of meds.Did you took medication too?thanks
@thisorthat76264 жыл бұрын
@@flower7341 My belief is that an autoimmune issue is NOT our immune system attacking our body, but the immune system trying to get rid of a hidden infection (one that has entered specific cell tissue). With this in mind, I decided to boost my immune system to help it fight off the infection. This is contrary to medical thinking, so please decide for yourself if you want to follow my approach. I started with Lugol's iodine 2% drops in my tea or coffee (because it hides the taste). I started with 4 drops, 3 times a day. At first you may get some loose stools as the iodine kills off bad gut bacteria. I also took "Dr's Advantage" brand liquid zinc and copper mix, and ate Brazil nuts for the selenium, as they are important for the immune system. I find it is much easier for me to absorb a liquid form of minerals. I also used NOW brand lanolin (8 oz.) on the bottom of my feet before going to bed. It is an amazing source of Vitamins D and K2. Rub it in well as it is a bit sticky, and put on some cotton socks to keep it off your bed sheets. I got plenty of sunshine (daily when possible) and lots and lots of rest. You will be tired when your body is healing. As all these changes started working, my energy improved, my symptoms reduced, I felt better and looked better and I knew I was on the right path. I had blood tests done to check my thyroid levels and I could see the improvements. Pay attention to your body and adjust things as necessary. I started with zinc pills but they were too difficult to digest. I swap out food where possible even if it means eating liver. I found that I liked liver pate but not cooked liver. I started buying beef shins because you get marrow from the bones. People used to eat bone marrow all the time. I believe that bone marrow contains the nutrients that we need to build our own bone marrow. Keep an open mind. Look at what other cultures do and see what makes sense to you. Finally, I did have to have numerous conversations with my doctor as she kept prescribing thyroid hormones and I wouldn't take them. Now she changed my diagnosis so she can be right and I can continue my self care. LOL. Blessings!!
