Could be a good idea for single units and might be tricky to print the internal screw threads. Will be 1 time use only until they wear out. Might work for internal interface only. I have to look into that.

Thank you so much prof. ,, i have a question , how to design screw retained crown without a marker , i see some labs just asks for scans with the scan body to be taken as crown/bridge restorations and they manage to make it without a marker ?

You can take a scan of a stock abutment and design a hole in the occlusal surface of the crown. Then have the Dr cement it in the office and close the hole. The other option which is very common is when the Dr is using ZimVie healing caps, or Nobel Biocare OnOne healing caps. Those are healing caps/scan bodies in one. I hope that answers your question

Good question. It depends on the manufacturer of the TI bases and the library code. if a system does not feature the angulation of screw channels then the feature won't show up. As a demo case I would use an Aurum TI base from Dess. Those have angulated features for sure.

There is, but it's a work-around. In the same order form it's not possible because it's dictated by the library. If you have a scan- only you go to edit mesh and trim it down.

Are we talking TI- bases or preps? In TI bases the undercuts are blocked out automatically and the blackout amount can be changed in the settings

First off love tour channel!! Im not sure if its possible but I know that of anyone can do it, you can haha, but is there a way to reverse engineer a bar for a hybrid prosthesis using exocad and meshmixer, similar to what blender for dental is doing. I can use blender but I am much more comfortable with exocad so wanted to know if its possible Thank you!
