Excellent video but slight error. The number entered at LADDR is the hardware address as found in the "System Constants" and not the physical address of the inputs. Your video at the end shows a decimal number which converts to Hex 8090 this has to be at 0 for correct operation. Thanks for the video though it was very useful. Hope this helps anybody else who uses it.

Can I use a 3 phase AC motor with external encoder to handle position?

It can be used for some less precise applications, but it is not practiced. The three-phase asynchronous motor is primarily intended for speed control. As for the position, it is questionable how much precision it can achieve, for some precise applications it certainly cannot

Can you tell me why data type of NIST_A in DB1 is Dint and DB2 is word? In Document it is 16bit?

There should be WORD in DB1 as well, typo, but it won't cause any big problem, only more memory is allocated. So there should be WORD (16 bit) in DB1 as well.
