I am a fresher (plc programmer) and I learnt so much from your videos. It's really the combination of your teaching content and the fact that I can also look at you as you talk, that really makes me watch even longer videos. I really liked the alarms, Data block, function block videos. I have two questions 1. How to set time on HMI (for alarms) and RETAIN it? 2. How to show timer value (in minutes and hours) on HMI? You can direct me to an easy link.

I'm watching all videos as I can. All of them are very well explained. I've already did Sitrain course some years ago and not programming Siemens PLC frequently. For work reasons I couldn't participate HMI course. Your videos helps a lot to keep me updated. Any plans to release anything about safety? Thanks Wagner

Looking forward to this series. Would like to know a few more applications of a safety PLC and why you would use one, as opposed to using a Safety relay with multiple channels that sends a signal back to a regular PLC or De-energizes the outputs :)

Nice video. Only problem when I am trying TIA administrator I always get the error : "The TIA-Administrator server is currently not running, please wait for some time and reload the page. If the problem persists, please check the service in the service control panel" I don't find a very clear solution on the internet...

Might be an issue with my machine, but I have always one cpu core under full load when the updater searches (which also runs quit long). As the machine is a laptop with a quiet decent cpu, the fan turns up just when I search for updates... Anyone else with this phenomenon?

My CPU is also at quite a high load when searching for updates (even though my PC is very strong). I could not find a reason for it yet (maybe it's just the tool for some reason...)

Thank You for Your work, but I have to say: Arrogance, stupidity, recklessness? These words come to mind when I think of the TIA Administrator. Accessing SiePortal via user and password is OK, but logging into TIA Administrator with admin rights as if it were your own Windows is too much. What will they want next? Clothing size, insurance number or internet banking passwords? It makes me sick and unfortunately this behavior is why the world is where it is.
