In technology object under the general menu there is a direction output q0.1, could you please tell me this output is why automatically goes set and what is the application of that output

This technology object can be used to control a stepper motor. It has two outputs: the Pulse output is used to set the speed of the stepper motor. The motor rotates at an angular speed proportional to the frequency of the square wave signal at this output. The Dir output is used to set the direction of rotation: for example, when Dir = 0, CW direction. When Dir = 1, CCW direction. Read about the PTO output in the PLC.
