I approached him at the end of season 1 in my save (I boosted team acclaim to try and get some wacky transfers). I had way more than the required acclaim and resources, went for the low risk offer, and he declined it. No idea why but maybe he's just a bugger to sign?

I think there was also a patch which was supposed to stop the AI from blocking you on a hotlap and one that was supposed to get rid of the issue that the damage isn't shown on the MFD, I am fairly certain that I remember that from patch notes. However, both issues still exist so I think either the patches aren't working fully maybe or there is a deeper issue within the game but I am no expert

What I’ve found in my co op and my my team career is that once you go so far into the seasons the ai are broken in full quali no matter what. Short quali is absolutely fine, maybe try it next episode

I wish every like 3-5 seasons a vote would be called and there’s a chance that the cars get nearly completely reset. Visually they wouldn’t change but they could simulate a new car generation coming out and reshuffle things. The usual new car development doesn’t quite hit the spot after only a couple seasons.

I picked up Robert Schwartzman in career mode, and had the simulator facilities etc. to help with 2nd driver pace, and had him actually win a race... sometimes the cheaper guys can be a better investment
