@@ifeeIcoke Sure. Because letting just the cars in his way overtake, not the others,... and not even letting them catch back up... is perfectly fine and normal. It always happens like that, apart from all the other times, where it did not happen that way. You either don't let them overtake, or you let all overtake AND get back in the line before restarting. Doing something in between that only favored one single person and screwed pretty much everyone else, is CERTAINLY not only meant for the "show". Sure.

Largest points difference overcome to win a WDC: Kimi Raikkonen 2007 overcame a 17 point gap difference with 2 races to go, with a possible 20 points up for grabs. He claimed ‘0.85 wins per race’ in those last 2 races to win the title. The only gap that comes close to Max’s 100 point lead, is the 1976 season when Hunt had half of Lauda’s points after half a season and still won the championship. In this case it was easier to compare points as a fraction of a race win, rather than actual points awarded due to the difference in point systems.

I am currently battling Max in my team season 4. At one point he had a 42 point lead on me, he then had a puncture, finished out of the points, then a dnf, I was able to get within 28 points. I won back to back races and he dnf'd again, now he's leading by 2 points. 6 races left in the season. He either wins, or finished 2nd just about every race unless he has problems, and no matter what, even on worn out tires, he snags the fastest lap of the gp. He has won championship 2 seasons in a row also, his AI is a monster!!!!!

20:00 **Massiism at its finest my good sir! ;)* on another note, a P2 does keep your dreams & more importantly odds of winning a championship alive for this season, the other thing I'd suggest, start saving tons of R&D points at some point or another in the not distant future you're gonna get another regulation change & aside from being able to let couple of upgrades go, save the rest, which helps with tyre temp, you can also ensure that your teams index stays higher than the AI's, that will make them get a bit cheaty half way through that season but it's not too frustrating. there is a lot of time left until f1 2022 & that means *there is plenty of time left to get both the WDC and WCC* if you get either a multi-department regulation change (which f1 2021 loves to give to me for some reason). even if its reliability if you saved all those upgrades but the AI didn't with the way they use their engines, you'd be set.

Yes you get less resource points so you can’t develop the car as much but just do quick practice. Then you get all the resource points. It annoys me because every other game you could sim practice and get all the resource point but they took that out

In one of my races, Ricciardo tried to pass Sainz, but out of the pits came Norris. Ricciardo enters the exit lane and slams into Norris, who was still completely in the exit lane. Ricciardo crashes and DNF’s, Norris gets two 5 second penalties… the crash penalties in this game make no sense at all!
