My only negative is that they didn’t incorporate Dr Facilier into the ride. But I enjoy the new story line; they put a LOt of detail into this, and I think once they get all these little kinks workedout (delays), you’re going to see crazy wait times like Splash had. Thanks for the FULL detail walkthrough (must be nice being an AP lol). 😊
@bronypony30915 ай бұрын
But Dr Facilier was killed off by his friends on the other side at the end of the original movie. Bringing him back would have made no sense, and it would have been too complicated and confusing to guests.

You could say that about any “bad” character Gaston, Hook, The Evil Queen, etc. all killed off
@englishatheart5 ай бұрын
@@CraigSiegel32 We have no idea if Hook died. The last we see of him is him trying to escape from the croc. Also, since this ride takes place after the events in the movie, it makes sense to not feature him. And maybe they feared he'd be "too scary" or offend people who practice voodoo, since he's evil. With as pearl clutchy as people are today, I can see that happening. They tried to make the child killing Sanderson sisters "sympathetic," ffs.

The ONLY issue I have with this ride is that once you get to the party, it rushes you through it! The animatronics are BEAUTIFUL & the fluidity of their movement is fantastic! I wanna go ride this ride for myself! 😱❤️

Of all the videos, this is the most complete and best quality of the ride. JMO now. I think they did a pretty good job with the queue. I'm also glad they incorporated several audio animatronics into the ride. However, I think they should have followed more of the story line. As another poster stated, at least they didn't screw it up like they did with Alien Encounter to Stitch's in Tomorrowland. Great job and thank you 4K!

@4KWDW Hello my YT friend and I want to say thank you for your beautiful and especially the ones of Tiana. But if you can answer this question for me. How did Disney select you or did you know one of the cast members? I know some of the KZbinrs had the opportunity to ride the ride through the cast members. I am only wondering and trying to learn how Disney selects the people. I am assuming it is due to the popularity of the person and the channel. I am not any of that at least by KZbin and Disney standards of them considering me. I am just a real and honest Tiana fan and it would be cool if they went by that lol. And as I stated it is certainly okay. I just always wanted to how they pick or how they contact you if you can share that. Thank you for your time and patience regarding this question. The thing about Splash Mountain’s finale, party was that it felt so rewarded because they are celebrating that Br’er Rabbit came back home and learned his lesson that he can’t run away from trouble. And it’s such a relief because he was in the brink of danger before the climactic drop. Why does Tiana have a party? Because she just wants to do it.

I been on this ride in my last Disney Trip with Family and I love this ride. I love the previews and how it continues the story of Princess and the Frog. My main con is that the signs didn’t say you may get wet or soaked. The you may get wet sign was a bit misleading since I got soaked while on this ride. This is the worst ride re-opening in Disney history. The outside looks absolutely ridiculous and cheap. The story is sterile, dumb, and boring. Yes, the interior visuals and the animatronics are amazing. But this is just boring, and Splash Mountain was better. Tiana should have gotten her own, new ride, since tPatF was one of the best Disney movies in the last 20 years. And the fact that they DON'T EVEN HAVE Dr. Faciliere on this is absolutely insane. And no Tiana in her beautiful green dress??? What a stupid waste of the very excellent IP! They should have kept Splash Mountain. The new re-skinning is actually JUST AS PROBLEMATIC (go learn about the salt mines, kids) and it's way worse of a ride. Oh, and they're spitting on the memory of the most excellent James Baskett who was an amazing and influentual black actor. He helped pave the way for so many after him, and Disney wants to do nothing but forget him. Absolutely shameful. Disney and their imagineless "imagineers" soak everything they do in failure.

Ok, Disney, if you’re gonna make a ride based on Princess and the Frog, people are going to expect to see Dr. Facilier and Prince Naveen as well as have the ride be closer to the plot. Hell you could even have it so that Dr. Facilier comes back from the dead, kidnaps someone, and then threatens to use his voodoo magic on them and Tiana and Naveen must turn back into frogs in order to save them. Or even have Dr. Facilier come back from the dead and steal the ingredients.

@peterdecarrjr.7255 ай бұрын

Other people are saying "but the old ride had dead periods." But there was atmosphere, anticipation , and excitement in those dead periods. It felt like you were really in the Rocky Mountains on a log. Does it really feel like you're in a salt mine here? I wouldn't have known if other people didn't say that's what it was. It looks nothing like a salt mine...most of the rocks are still orange. And the dead periods are just dead. Meanwhile the large show scenes just have like one main character under a spotlight and nothing else to look at it. It's a Small World is more exciting than this ride!

Well just them some time to adapt to this change and wrap their heads around this. If I were you, I’d cut these people who miss Splash Mountain some slack. It may not be a big deal to you but to everyone else, it’s that’s special part of their lives that is cherished and nostalgic that they can fondly look back on for many years. Sure the ride itself was dated but it still left a positive impact on their childhood and that’s worth fondly remembering. Change is hard for everyone especially when we have to let traditions and things we love go. I should know because as someone who has autism and struggles to deal with big changes, I myself had to go through it because even though it was very scary and tough to get through, I’ve gained resilience and experience and over the years, I’ve learned to cope with change. I still fricken loathe change but now, when I look back, it made me realized how far I’ve truly come and how much I’ve grown as a person. We need to learn to deal with change, to help us to grow and adapt to it as human beings.

I like all the new visuals. So K, how was it after all this time? Did you get a special pre-opening day invite??? 🤔⛰️🍿
