Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is NOT What You Think

In the past couple of months, we have learned more about the new 2024 Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction coming to the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. This ride is set to be something special, but people like myself have been skeptical of the ride's development. Well, after my last video, I'm here to admit I was wrong about some things I said, but not entirely. Let me explain.

@@SirBuzz I thought Mama odie randomly shrinking then regrowing me only to throw me off a cliff while acting like a crazy old lady that knows what she’s doing ig😂 was pretty thrilling and fun call me crazy but at the end of the day I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable Disney poking fun at black culture made me scared of the past even as a little kid I dunno the idea of overcoming obstacles despite your background/past and seeing wat it led to makes me happy☺️ I mean it is “the happiest place on earth” isn’t it🤷

I was pointing out that the argument that Dr F being dead and cannot appear in a sequel because it would “mess up the story” is weak given Disney’s track record for bringing villains back to life. @@Behinddarkness86 hey all I said would have cruise were one of things they were doing, but I suppose what I meant more was how a lot of videos talking about this Ride weren’t really doing their homework for instance him talking about how the animatronics look amazing and that videos of the animatronics have been out before he released a lot of his videos bashing this but the plot doesn’t require a villain it’s abt looking for and coming across other music playing animals in the bayou. Then returning to the town in time for MardiGras via sortcut(waterfall), so a villain just doesn’t fit in. It just isn’t required. Why is it required? I’m just grateful we finally are rid of a ride in 2020 that perpetuates and glorifies slavery😂

It kills me they didn't put a voodoo section on the last drop, it's so perfect literally everyone thought of it, I'm sure it'll be a fine ride, but I'm going to be so disappointed if the rise is this uplifting journey rather than the darkest point in the ride

It does not matter what the best ride is it's something new and different which Disney has been missing a long-time ! Also the charactos like the frogs is really entertaining for kids who love frogs. I'm happy Disney is doing something positive especially with the with the whole cooking vibe which is fun! We can leave the vudo charactor out we have anought of that mess with the haunted mansion.

hi! disneyland peep here. i know the outwards themeing doesnt really work for magic kingdom but for me personally i like it.. (again like u said the bayou theme works spectacularly with new orleans and blends seamlessly with critter country. Im actually really excited for this ride. Do i have my doubts? yes! am worried about the screen seen in the bee section of the ride.. absolutely.. am I worried they wont add any voodoo into it. a little bit (especially with haunted being right next door.. i do hope the drop has something to do with voodoo. but with mama oda i do kinda believe that we will be getting that even if its only a quick refrence. But do i think ill still love this ride? yes! There will be parts that bring me out of it sure. but the anamatronics and the life ive seen in the current ride gives me a lot of hope that the ride will still feel alive (and actually might fit better due to the bayou at night theming. ( i do still wish for the tree but its ok.. )

I've always enjoyed Disney rides because I'm familiar with the movie or at least the storyline with most attractions. Lately, I have no clue what is going on with some of the rides. I've never watched the Princess and Frog movie and have zero plans to ever see it. I've not watched Tron either. Thank goodness we have Universal Studios! Islands and Universal have far surpassed Disney in just about every facet of the theme park game and I don't see Disney catching up anytime soon!

This is honestly extremely disappointing. The story sounds like it makes no sense and is really reaching to bring anything new to the table, when if they just followed the story of the movie it would’ve made perfect sense for the drop and length of the ride. I’m really not looking forward to this opening, but I am curious to see the pov when it releases bc the animatronics look amazing. Seems like a waste of such good tech

Splash mountain was made off of a movie that is racist, which is another reason why Disney chose to rebuild the ride into something like Tiana's Bayou. Lots of kids would know who Tiana is more than what the splash mountain ride is based off of.
