My dad use to own Caucasian shepherd long time ago when i was just 7 and first started school. I use to ride on his back and sometime he would pull me on sleds to school in winter. I miss him forever my very first best friend. Our friends ship was cut shot due to war in Yugoslavia. We had to move to different country , dad got pulled in military. Dog went to dads friend who had dog shelter and farm. As war progressed and all that horrible shit, dog got sold to somebody years later. At least he was lucky to find new home too. But i gotta say its one of them dogs that will love u and watch over u forever, and even if u were to slip and fall he'd run up to you to make sure that you're ok.

Same thing i was 10yrs old when he died someone poisoned him during night and he died at age of 7, ppl were afraid of him but caucasian sheperds are really smart one time he got off leash (we had to tie him bc we moved in new house and we didnt have fence around house and ppl were complaining about him) and he attacked some guy that was passing near our house i remember my dad yelling at him to stop and he just stoped and didn't let guy pass trough but he didnt attack him when he turned around and started going back, and even with strangers when he see them talkin with us he wont bark or attack...i can just say that these dogs are amazing and one of them was my childhood best friend too 😊

I'd have to disagree on many of your scorings. The Caucasian Ovcharka out performs the Tibetan mastiff by far in many of these categories. Much more bigger, powerful, aggressive; and as an owner of a CO, they're pet and family friendly. Just depends on the owner.

The Caucasian was used as a police guard dog by the Russians and the East Germans. Against Wolves I'd take the Kangal, against Humans the Caucasian is a better personal security dog.
