I was there 3000 years ago.. started playing tibia in January 1998, joined one of the german guilds back then (AuN - Avengers of the Unknown Newbies). Met great people and friends for many years. When they retired in 1999/2000 i became a lonewolf... trying to join the RR in 2001. Got denied and joined the ranks of the Mercenarys. Fought multiple wars in the Alliance, became leader of Mercenarys, left to join Illusion .. left them to join another War before leaving Antica to Premia. Joined Violent Saints - some of the best times in Tibia for me. Fought wars against overwhelming enemies from other servers, ultimately lost, went back to a different Antica .. and quit in 2012/13. Never returned again .. but never forgotten the great times i had... I still have Screenshots and videoclips of various stages of Tibia on my Harddrive and from time to time i watch them with nostalgia in my heart.

This was great! I started playing tibia 97 when I was 9 years old, my name was Obba and I think im in 1 of the screenshots (purely from the look of my outfit which I remember) and I have to emphasis 1 thing: peeing in bottles . That was pretty much the reason some of my friends started playing lol. I have flashes of memories, like lazzlo being level 33 and felt like a god. Wizards instead of GMs. Does anyone remember Yorin? The wizard (gm) who hated pgs and loved rps. He actually killed people who were trying to pg too hard. This is superearly though, with like 30-50 players online. Omg the stories in my head. Also does anyone remember Blue Soul? Legendary PK who had killed pretty much everyone (he was like level 16 which was OP at the time). The lack of spell exhaust, push exhaust, training with stacked monsters, dragons at east gate, eplates, hots and steelshields everywhere. MMS having the exact same look as steelshield, chain legs being pretty much the rarest item there was. Etc etc etc.. this game shaped me and my friends whole life basically. When we had intoduced it to our school it spread like wildfire and the social life became about tibia. If u were good at tibia noone would touch you. If someone was mean u could just say ”ill kill you on tibia” and anyone would leave you alone, also try to be ur friend, because dying on tibia was far worse than the physical pain of being hit. Our teachers had to arrange meetings if someone killed someone else in the class etc. It was wicked how much it controlled our lives back then. Sry for long comment I got a bit nostalgic. Anyway great movie man. (Ps: my nickname is still Obba irl to this day because of my first character in tibia)

HUGE respect to you!!!! The whole subject about tibian old days and the legendary mystery quests that people tried to solve in the past that you are making videos about is really interesting and has really grabbed my attention these last years. I started playing at 7.1 and at the time I was pretty young so I had very little knowledge of the history of what happened before that and it didnt really interest me at all at the time, But the more time passes, the past is getting more fascinating to me and today I learned alot of things. Oh wow, truly a fantastic project. It is nice to hear stories even I have not heard and see some of the missing pieces fall into place. Keep up the good work; I hope there is many more of these! One of the big reasons as to why the flat project was shelved until a non key solution could be programmed was because a two key solution didn't work if you couldn't retrieve the first key. As the screenshot in the video showed, the flats with windows where horrid for getting yourself killed. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. You would use a key to get into your flat and lock it, but if you were killed you had only one key left. If that emergency key was on a char logged into your flat then they would suffer the same fate if they tried to retrieve the key, which led to your body rotting away. Even if you tried to bring the other key to save the first, the player could kill you for it, or even worse, gain access to your house when you opened the door, making your flat unsafe to use until the next server reset where everyone would be teleported to the temple!

I started playing on 7.1, at age 7. The game was still very socially oriented throughout the years of 2003-2005. CIP was already trying to push it to a more "grindy" style but, at this moment, the influx of new players was so massive that there was simply not enough map for everyone to hunt. Actually, it was even hard to find open slots on the servers just to log in. So most of us still resorted to the more social activities such as chatting, training and exploring the map.

18:24 - seeing Zu on his screen, even more so with the red skull, was a mixture of emotion and fear... he was simply one of the best sorcers in the tibia, alongside, of course, Knight Fang and Proxy. It will always be remembered by those who love the game and especially by those who love the old days who will never come back. Unfortunately Tibia is over. Today it is a place where extortion by dominant guilds takes place, which dictate what you can and cannot do, depending on the amount of tibia coins you pay them. sad to see that the magic of RPG no longer exists. In summary, today, the game has a single purpose of getting stronger and simply dominating a server for the simple fact of having power and being able to extort others. Wars in the past had a purpose exclusively within the game. anyway, the tibia is over.

Awesome video and content. Just miss something about Mulf. I started on Nova on 2003, and I feel that was still a "Golden Time" on Tibia until 2006. Made a char on Antica on 2004, to check the house of Karr Chaos on Venore personally. Also to see the Tibianic Exposition. And someone showed me a Thunder Hammer in front of Castle of the Winds, by trade window. Was a stunning adventure. Together with the journeys on Nova, Solera, and Samera until 2007.

I was 11yo back then when i started playing on 7.6 version. I can truly say it was the golden time for that game and for me also, your video brings back the memory line when i used to go to my nearest neighbour to watch him playing it before i started. Ive got tears in my eyes man. Im expecting second part of this vid. What a quality of editing... keep up the amazing work man.

Hi there, I'm the original Dios Griego de la Muerte here but my account were hacked long time ago due to playing in an OT and using the same client to login into Tibia. Some of my videos has been used in this one and to be honest it's an honor :) I remember a lot of old stories, good old times.
