I teared up big time when she returned with the side of her face looking quite red and sore. Reminded me of my ex of 8 years who has Tourette's; his tic attacks lasted for hours at a time and left him with a permanent bald spot from whacking the side of his head. Luckily, he is in much better shape now (it was a combination of factors, in addition to *a lot* of trial and error that helped alleviate the tics). He has a wonderful job that allows him to travel the world (pre-covid), has heaps of people who adore him, a partner to whom he will soon pop the question, and a close-knit family who has always been by his side. Dear Evie - I hope that you will find your relief soon, too! You are strong, brave, and loved

When people are having a tic attack and they're hitting themselves, what's the best way to help? My instincts would be telling me to hold your hands so you couldn't hurt yourself but would that make it worse? I think the better option might be to get something to soften the blow, without restricting their movement so much. I know that This Trippy Hippie does have a pillow thing they can hang around their shoulders when her tics have been causing her to hit her collarbone too much. I can't remember if she has a crash helmet, but I'd love for someone to make something to help those whose tics make them punch themselves in the face - I've seen it in both this video and one of Jade's latest tic attacks and it looks so awful.

I love your laugh and your strength. Just brushing off the tics, and not letting the diagnosis take away the happiness you deserve. So proud of you sweet girl. You have the best sense of humor and your personality shines like gold. Keep being you!!

Bless your soul, you genuinely seem like the sweetest person. It’s horrible seeing the raw side of tics/Tourette’s syndrome but at the same time its great that you’re showing people that it’s not all that it seems and can be quite damaging mentally and physically. Besides, I love you and your videos, keep going💪🏼💞🥺

I love this series so much because it feels like such a pure expression of what these stories and poems are and mean. Also, I really get that feeling of guilt being relieved, I got my dx for autism in January 2020 at the age of 29 and I'm so glad I've finally started to let myself learn more about myself and how to improve my life in an unabashed way. Thank you for being you, for helping me feel less alone and terrified in the world with each video, and I am so, so grateful for someone as brave and beautiful as you to learn more about Tourette's from. On to more video binging!

I really hope your tics are "better", (to put it it like that). It's horrible to see someone as strong as you suffer from this... ily Evie

It kind of hurts to see the difficult and painful part of what you deal with every day. I admire your courage.

9:21 I have asthma, and I’m not sure whether that was a tic or not but I do the same thing. Stellar video though, love how you can laugh your way through your tics ❤️💕💓

O my god. At the end of the video I can see the pain in her eyes even though I don't have Tourettes. I wanna hug you now.

Listen , saying you're "unattractive" for having tics is like saying you're unattractive for sneezing. NOBODY at all looks good when they sneeze, and honestly I think you look gorgeous.
