I’m right there with you Vic!!! As an essential retail employee I have had it with the stress from customers that had nothing to do with my store and the stress from my employers not giving a shit. I feel useless at work. I’ve been there 4+ yrs and it doesn’t seem to matter. They don’t care. They used to. We all used to be people. What happened to people being caring people? There will be all kinds of issues with mail-in voting (nationally), but I doubt any will be related to Post Office's ability to process or deliver ballots - that is nothing compared to the stacks of junk mail I get every day!

I live in the UK, The Electoral Commission which is an independent body bends over backwards to make sure I can vote, in the months leading up to an election I get several reminders to make sure I'm on the electoral register. No Government regardless of which party it is gets to interfere, it's what democracies are supposed to do.

There are reasons why almost every other country is in much better shape than we are. They have leaders who follow the advice of health care experts and citizens who feel it's there duty to do what is needed to reduce the spread of the virus.

@Jon Bailey I searched the web and found nothing about the CDC saying there's no need to wear a mask. The last pandemic we had close to this one was in 1918, or 1917 according only to Trump. It killed over 650,000 Americans in 1918 and 1919. This virus is more deadly to seniors and people with compromised immunity just like you said. But it also leaves many survivors with serious damage to their organs after they recover. When you compare the virus death toll from 1959 to the one we have now you forget to take in account we are nowhere near seeing an end to the virus we have now. The second wave of the 1918 pandemic was much more deadly than the first one. I was born in 1959 so I'm not young and I do not live in fear from anything. Fear is a powerful motivator than often leads to violence. The RNC used it as way of trying to convince people that they need Trump to protect them. Naturally most of what they said to make people fearful was untrue.

@Jon Bailey We seem to agree on most things. I think I would be okay if I caught covid-19. I have a strong immune system, and besides my age, I have no other risk factors to worry about. Besides that I have no fear of dying since there's no way to prevent it. "A life lived in fear is a life half lived" is my motto. I don't believe we are being lied to about how many cases and deaths the pandemic has caused. From what I found the numbers are actually lower than they should be. And deaths caused by other things aren't counted as deaths from this virus. I believe during a pandemic people should do what they can to slow the spread. There's no good reason to make wearing a mask in public political or encourage people to form large gatherings until we get it under better control. I wrote a report on the JFK assassination in high school and believe there's more to it than what we have been told. The War On Drugs has been a complete failure, 9-11 was an inside job and the towers came down from a controlled demolition like many architects and engineers say. The War On Terror has nothing to do about our safety and is about our self serving interests. We live in a country ruled by oligarchs who only care about enriching themselves. See, we aren't that different after all.
