Borinki Brah except for the one about pensioners that should not get stimulus checks. I’m retired and every dime I saved for 7 years was gone when my wife lost her job due to virus 🦠. Now we r both broke stimulus spent on bills not luxury items and wife is still out of work. So VIC was wrong saying retirees like me don’t deserve check. As a fellow New Jerseyan, I agree with your message that we must help small businesses. However, to dump this on the federal government/Trump is being disingenuous, although I think it comes from a good place. It is well established that individual states have the authority to prescribe economic and societal policies separate from the federal government in order to produce prosperity and functionality in their respective state. In New Jersey, Phil Murphy has taken it upon himself to implement draconian lockdown measures that have been the most stringent in the nation. Admittedly, at the beginning, this was necessary due to high number of infected Covid-19 patients...His original mantra was to "flatten the curve" and then we would be able to begin resuming more regular routines... As the weeks passed and the curve was flattened, Murphy changed the goal posts & said we may not be able to resume normality until a successful vaccine was produced...This was never part of the original plan & it's crazy to think that it's possible. Every year, people get flu shots and end up with the flu because viruses mutate. They constantly change strain in order to survive... That's its only job...So Murphy keeps indoor dining, retail shops, gyms, day care, schools shut down for 3.5 months. NJ Unemployment offices were closed & people had to try and file a claim over an automated machine which was usually busy, broken, or you had to wait in an 8 hour cue only to be told that the lines are busy call back...My daughter was not able to receive her unemployment for over 2 months...Of course we were upset, but it was with the governor of our state...Ultimately, the buck stops with him...If he is the moral & legal arbiter of our state, he assumes full responsibility for the decisions HE makes for OUR STATE! He claims to be a man of science and data...I believe him...His charts & diagrams are some of the best in the business... He supposedly uses this data to inform his decisions about when to ease certain restrictions. However, I find it really interesting that he appeared in public at several of the BLM marches/protests & did not appear worried about the spread of Covid-19 when the cameras were rolling & he was able to get his politically correct soundbite to the lamestream media... That was fine and dandy...No problem, nothing to see here, Covid-19 doesn't attend protests... In the next breath, he's slamming families for going to the beach, using tax payer funded state parks, etc. If you look at it objectively, there's something more sinister going on here...I recommend that people listen to alternative news sources such as Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro, Tim Pool, Glen Beck, Jericho Green, Officer Tatum, & Anthony Brian Logan for facts that have not been distorted through the lens of mainstream media hacks with an agenda to pursue....

DIY, if you will 💁🏻‍♂️). I DISAGREE with the abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose, the abolition of all rights to inheritance, the confiscation of property of all emigrants and rebels, the centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state, the extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries (although, John Deere might have something to say about this 😂), and gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country (in the end, this just creates too many urbanized areas; humans need to have more space). Regarding centralization of credit and setting in stone a national bank is a bit of a gray area. Some of our Founding Fathers agreed, though yes, some also opposed. James Madison agreed, for example, but Thomas Jefferson did not. It depends on how it functions. I think we can mend the Fed, although I have switched back and forth before regarding the thinking that we should end the Fed and mend the Fed. We can’t have individual states printing their own currency. That throws the rhythm of trade out of whack, which is a significant tenant of why the Articles of Confederation failed. Regular people could make their own currencies (Bitcoin and XRP, for example). However, there also must be a balance when it comes to this as well, otherwise you risk deflation, since they’re so many currencies out there. You also risk not being able to buy from a certain place you liked before if they don’t accept the currency you have. So, there does need to be some consolidation of currency. Consolidation of credit could be fine, IF and only IF we actually take note and make the central bank public and held accountable.

The government has a plan - its called feudalism. It was the way government worked in Europe in the Midle Ages. Most farmers (Main Street)) were serf = in debt to landowners (Wall Street). Im from India, we have same crisis all of us but we are complied to wear masks failure to do so, most people are beaten up on the road or be taken and detained and then beaten up again in police stations or at times cops are imposing fines of around $200 to $300 to keep people in check... Many youngsters were beaten to death to which part of the community responded by killing cops on duty who were just regulating govt. Laws to keep lockdown strict and masks mandate... U think America is facing worst... Imagine getting locked in your house for 14 days and no you can't even get off the porch with a second person or more and specially without a mask... Cops will start beating u without a question even if u r a female..... Right now the lockdown had been opened with essential job owners and small companies to run normally again... The dairy farmers are dying....milk prices have dropped so low, farmers can’t pay their bills and are sinking...my brother is one of them. He took over the family farm when our father died. A young farmer who took the reins and keep the farm going for him and Mom. 37 years later and he is near loosing everything. His passion is farming but he has NO money to repair his machines let alone buy used ones. My heart aches for him. Just needed to tell you about this. Thanks

Small business owner here. We're up in Rockland County, NY (from NJ, though). I can't imagine things would be drastically different. We filed for the SBA loan the moment it was available. Let me tell you the utter fucking backflips we had to go through to even get this thing filled out. Then, after two months, we were told we were not approved due to a lean on our business. There was no lean on our business. We got that sorted, and got approved... for $30,000.00 less than what we were supposed to get BY THE VERY DESCRIPTION they had for a business our size (which is pretty tiny). They want us to fail. They want people to die. The American dream is rotting in a shallow grave with an amazon logo on it.

Vic is right on the money here. I am a salesman for over 30 years who calls on small businesses every day and it’s absolutely heartbreaking what has happened to them. When I walk into Walmart,Home Depot or any supermarket there are 10 times more people in there than most small businesses on their busiest days. They are not allowed to open or let customers in because they are not “essential “? Well they are sure essential to the people that own them -and who depend on them to make a living and put food on their tables. Not safe? Well then why are all these large chain stores open? Are they more safe than the smaller stores? It really seems like they are being pushed around and it is completely wrong and unfair.
