+Sacredroses they realised a lot of people like to go there, so they built a gate to stop and charge people. Bit shit really, I guess it creates employment but people who use that road everyday to commute must get annoyed.

sounds like the toll roads over here though. A private company will build and maintain the roads here in Oz and charge a fee and after 40 years the contract is up and the government takes control of the roads. Nothing like Public Private Partnerships. Thankfully i get it cheaper on a bike
