I recently got a TicWatch Pro 2020. My biggest complaints about it are: - Google Pay is available in only 11 countries. Therefore NFC is useless for me, as I happen to not be in one of those. (I don't understand why reviewers do not mention this?? I had no idea before I got the watch and this was a massive disappointment) - Facebook Messanger and Viber can only receive messages and send replies. You cannot initiate a chat or spontaneously open a chat to read it. There is no WhatsApp app at all for WearOS. Telegram has all this functionality... - Amazingly, sometimes, the keyboard it gives you has no backspace key whatsoever. So if you make one single typo, you need to close the entire app and start over again... Absurd. - There are too many glitches and moments of unresponsiveness... Sometimes the watch is unusably slow to react to waking (by lifting your wrist or by pressing a button), often the reactions to the wrist gestures for scrolling in notifications are terribly slow or nonexistent. It's all cool with WearOS watches but it needs a lot of work! I don't get why Google is not doing anything... There is so much money in this (like Apple has proved already).

Haha....Pay is my biggest gripe. It's widely available via the phone, but on watches it's horribly country restricted. No idea why.

I'm also wondering if there could be a performance difference between the built in watch faces and ones from a third party app?...

You can use Google Pay in Bulgaria also ;) currently using it to pay everywhere in the country with my phone, but not my watch - unfortunately - since I own Galaxy Watch 46" which is Tizen not Wear OS.

The watch has no speaker, meaning that the only way you to get notified is using the vibration mode.

Yup - it looks great and performs well. However - there's something important from the last weeks - since this one is based on Snapdragon 2xxx series, it may not receive WearOS 3.0. If that doesn't bother you - go for it. If I were you - I'd wait for some more weeks.

Looks like the code is no longer active... You can check in Mobvoi's forums - there are often some ideas about codes. In the meanwhile - I will ask around for a new code.

This one should do well. The Galaxy watch uses Bixby - so it will really be difficult.

This seems the best choice seeing that now it costs only €96-104 on Amazon and I never use speakers on watches and I charge them during nighttime (even though there is an app for sleep tracking that you can add)

Challenging... You wait for a few battery cycles. Reduce the animation speed, lower the screen brightness, get rid of apps that you don't use.

Nice looking watch, but it appears kind of thick! How thick is it? I like that it has nfc, and has a way to respond to text messages from the watch. However the short battery life and the price point is a no go. Still like my Pebble Time, hope it lasts forever! 😊

It's not that thick, it's the same thickness as a galaxy watch
