I must have really gotten lucky with my E. With constant notifications and alarms and text responding I use roughly 30% battery per day with about 72% battery left at the end of day 1 and needing a recharge after day 3 at around 11pm. Overall I am very pleased with this watch.

Did you have it setup with your iOS device or with an Android? I have an iPhone and I'm wondering whether this will work for me or if I'll have to dish out $400 for an Apple Watch.

Android wear is available for iOS but it definitely isn't an ideal experience. It has only very basic functionality and notifications aren't overly reliable at this stage. This is best used with an android phone.

I recently acquired the Ticwatch E and I like it for the most part. However I can't get the Lock Screen to work. (In Settings under Personalization. ) It's purpose is to prevent unauthorized access to the watch when it is removed from the wrist. Mine doesn't do that. Even though I have set it up with a pass code, access to all functions, settings, text messages, etc. is still available when I take it off my wrist. Is this a known problem with the Ticwatch E or do I have a defective one?

I got this watch 2 days ago from Amazon and i also ordered the Samsung gear s3 because i just couldn't decide between the two. Ill be getting the gear s3 tomorrow. The ticwatch works wonderfully and is a true smartwatch unlike many cheap chinese types however im just concerned about it's durability since its plastic as well as its rather thick body that just isnt anything to ohhhh and awe about looks wise and doesn't give a premium look n feel without the help of a nice watchface so im still in the fence about it. Ill be wearing both daily to get a good comparison and may be returning one of them.

Photos are not possible, considering the resolution of its OLED screen, and you can, of course, listen to music using it as long as you have a Bluetooth headphones since it doesn't have a headphone jack.
