Your review of this tank is the best by far. I have seen a bunch of videos on this tank and they're all done kind of chaotically because there is a lot going on there is a whole maintenance room there is an interview process there are multiple people there all the time. This video is done so well, audio is awesome but you have the best video footage of this tank by far.

Absolutely insane system, that goes without saying. 😆 Awesome coverage of this famous tank, I think so far this video gives the best visual of just how impressive Andrew’s tank is; the angles, choice of focal length of lenses, the mix of full tank shots with close ups really gives a more complete picture of the tank. 👍 Like someone else mentioned, this is the perfect video to celebrate the 100K subs, congrats in advance! 🎉

Still boggles my mind that Tidal Gardens channel doesn't have millions of views and followers. Than, you always create documentary quality content and I am grateful! Please never lose the passion and keep connecting with the wider community and bringing it all into our homes with your wonderful video content and dialogue. I hope I get a chance to come through Tidal Gardens some day. Maybe on a trip back to Michigan from Colorado I will be able to manage a stop through Ohio. I wish I could travel around and spend my days documenting amazing private and public tank systems. I love how Andrew is into more than the look/appeal. Andrew as well everyone involved in the care and keeping are clearly appreciative and seeks out information on taxonomy, ecology, and biology etc. of these specimens and then do all they are able to provide what is required. I love the infrastructure and engineering aspects of this system. Thanks for covering a bit more on the systems keeping the display and QT systems functioning.| Ok. I will stop rambling and go back to viewing. I had to share how excited and the ignition sequence my passions go through whenever I get to consume more information on Reef Keeping. Thanks for everything.

I enjoy watching your tanks. Keeps me from getting my own. I don't have the space or time to devote to a tank. I had a small octopus years ago when I lived in the Florida Keys. This tank is just so amazing!! Besides being one of the biggest home aquariums in the world, it certainly is one of the nicest home aquariums in the world, and that is a rare combo. The corals and the fish, just wow wow wow!! Amazing. I really hope to be able to see it some day, I’m sure no filming if it could ever do it justice. And what a really WOWs me compared to anything you’ve seen before is the amount of flow there is in this tank. I think that is another thing that makes it appear smaller than it is. We are used to see this movement of water in our smaller tanks but when you get to public aquariums you don’t get to see anywhere near this much movement. Incredible. Thanks for sharing this video.

Dispelling a common myth in the reef aquarium community. Just to clear something up. Pomacanthus genus angelfish and those of the genus chaetodonplus are in reality spongivores. Acropora corals and other coral species are not on the menu for large angelfish. Their diet in the wild is almost entirely comprised of sponges and tunicates. The closest thing to coral they supplement their diet with would be zoanthids. Geniacanthus Angelfish are zooplankton feeders like anthias. The butterflyfish in Andrew’s collection are opportunistic omnivores. The heniochus genus are zooplankton feeders. Quoy’s Parrotfish scarus quoyi is reef safe unlike most other scarids. You’ll see many reef aquariums with this species of parrotfish. Nipping at the occasional coral doesn’t mean the fish are eating the coral. Some fish eat the coral mucus exuded from stressed corals. The Acropora and other sps corals in this reef aquarium are quite healthy with good polyp extension.

@@tidalgardens it's definitely a much further trip out across long island so definitely tough to fit both in. Andrew is only 45 min from me, but going out to see LIA can be another 2 hours depending on traffic. It's been fun to watch both of these systems grow, I visited Andrew early on in 2020, and the 20k was rebooted to an extent last summer.

Hey! I need your help. I'm planning two large aquariums for my home. A 700 gal FOWLR & a 350 Gal mixed reef. You showed the boilers you are using. I'm interested in doing the same. (Probably smaller models.) I'd like to ask you about them. #1. These boilers are using "copper-finned tube heat exchangers." I also see a lot of copper pipes and fittings on yours. I'm told that copper tubes and fittings exposed to the water is potentially harmful for living things in marine aquaria; the copper leaching into the water and tank over time. Is there no danger? Or, perhaps, the picture you filmed was misleading?? So, question (1) is about the copper danger. Question #2 You are using two boilers. Is one redundant? Or are they two boilers for two systems? Thanx for your help. I look forward to your response.
