We have noticed that two of your "hikes" were done in chairlift/cable car. We would like to get some cardio too. My questions are: : Is it possible to hike the distance traveled by the chairlift/cable car? From the end of the cable cars/chairlift are there hikes one can take? Thank you.

Bariloche is one of our favourite places in Argentina! The scenery around there is so spectacular 😍 We went there for our honeymoon. Your video brought back a lot of happy memories 😊

@BucketListTravellers hi there! Not to piggy back off this comment, but we are also heading to Bariloche as part of our honeymoon! May I ask what time of the year you went? We leave March 9th and we are so excited!

You guys did have great weather, the views were gorgeous 😍 I loved seeing the mountain peak and lake views. I think my favorite views were from the chairlift peak, but all were pretty incredible. Your hiking footage makes me anxious to get back out on trails 😁 great episode you two ❤️

Great drone footage. Starting watching you before we traveled to Argentina in Feb.. We did BA, Ushuaia and then took a100 passenger ship to Antarctica. We then visited Iguassu falls. Had some of your issues with western union. Tried to get cash over Carnival 4 day holiday, no luck. I did find my Costco Citi visa got almost blue dollar rate and my debit card from my brokerage also got almost blue rate (330 vs 360) but with a large fee. Good thing they rebate atm fees. So in the end we did ok.

Wow sounds like an awesome trip! Ahh the cash dance in Argentina is so tricky, sounds like you found a decent solution in the circumstances though. A trip to Antarctica still remains on our bucket list for now!

@@TideKnotTravellers We might not have gone except the tour company {Overseas Adventure travel) we've used several times had a 2 for 1 sale last year. It was still expensive. But were retired and try to travel about 6 months per year.

The official and unofficial rates still confuse me... why can't currency just be simple! lol. But looks like the cable car was worth it. Great views basically everywhere you went in this city. I'm a fan of the landscapes there too. Water, mountains, sunshine, hiking... perfection!

Did you talk only spend 2 days in Bariloche?
@TideKnotTravellers Жыл бұрын
No we only had a car for 2 days whilst in Bariloche but we spent longer there in total and took the bus or stayed local the other days.

Would that be a nice place to retire ? Friendly people ? Healthcare ? Seems like cost of living is low….
@TideKnotTravellers Жыл бұрын
It’s a good question, it seems many people do retire here. It’s beautiful and the standard of living feels very good. Yes the people are so friendly (across Argentina in general) we can’t speak for the healthcare as we didn’t require it but if it is line with everything else we experienced then I’d say things should be good.
