S😊o good to see all three of you in good spirits! Glad Justin gets to hang out with us in your channel for a while, I really liked it when he was around with you last time. I miss my friends a lot, they all are locked in Russia by horrible war, hostages in their own country. Just as pandemic was over, we started making plans how we all meet… I couldn’t find right words to express what a wonderful time that would be if they came to see me here in the US, how snug and happy we would feel sharing my little place… So, so very happy for you, and anybody in the world, who has freedom to be with friends. Enjoy, good friendship is priceless ❤ and so is freedom.

Never been to the desert side of Oregon. Always stick to the ocean sides, forests & Columbia River Gorge. Didn’t know it was so beautiful!

I live in Oregon. The Alvord Desert & Owyhee Canyon are incredible! SE Oregon. Few people. So much beauty. Lava tubes to explore. I could go on & on❤

Life has been stressful for me lately.. received some sad news of a family friend who is dealing with strokes and in the hospital. I'm also working 9-5 and don't get out much. oregon is gorgeous. i left gig harbor, washington on november 1 to (finally!) make my way to arizona for the winter (my first). the weather app predicted rain from gig harbor on down for the first three days i was traveling so i just drove and slept my way through oregon and northern california. 😂 we put some sunny miles down in oregon this summer though so i didn’t mind a bit blazing through the inclement weather. i was also starting to be concerned about running into snow in mountain passes - i left alaska in may to say farewell to driving in snow (and shoveling it, and and slipping on icy surfaces) and was ready to alter my driving route in whatever way necessary to get around a pass with snow! i missed one winter weather warning in a pass simply by staying at a rest area for an extra long (18 hour) rest before pushing on and the snow had come and gone before i got there. yes! i’m so glad you had better weather for your oregon trekking!
