The seat didn’t drop like you thought it would cause there’s a strong magnet that holds it up even if buckles are released so you can deploy seat faster when it’s just the magnet securing it in the up position

There is more to it than that. I bought this one the one that has the seat frame on it. When you unbuckle the one with the seat frame it easily drops into an easily usable position (it has two magnets on it). This unit didn’t function the same as that other one. I returned this one and kept the one with the metal frame.
