I just received mine yesterday. So far so good. I like the little booger and it feels like a quality radio. Programming using a USB-C cable is how all radios "should" be!

yep, the usb c for programming the radio with chrip or the official software is so nice, i wish more radios started doing that

It's a pretty great radio. I have one, my parents bought 4, and I plan on ordering a couple more. There's nothing that really comes near it for the price. There are some minor things that could be improved upon, such as adding scan start as an option for the quick key on the side and a voltage display option on the startup screen, but those are very minor matters of convenience and personal opinion. I should probably stop calling the company 'titradio' now...but I'll probably never stop.

I think they allow scrambling in the UK, perhaps Europe, in their Persanal Mobile Service (PMS), the equivalent of GMRS/FRS.

If you want high power, choose H8 10w radio. If you want more functions but low power, choose H3 5w radio.🥰

If they made it IP67 you'd complain about the price, if they made IP67 and charged the exact same price you'd find something else to complain about and they'd go out of business for selling them too cheap...

@@vitogriffin8902 Actually no, but thanks for that assumption. I wouldn't mind paying more if they were rated IP67. TIDRADIO replied to a suggestion I made on their video about getting it IP rated and said they are IP54 rated.

Who in there right mind would buy a 3-watt radio 5 Watts is bad enough let's downgrade to three The only thing going for it is the cool MDC 600 tone oh yeah in the airband

I've seen tests where they're getting 5. Aside from that, the difference between 3 and 5 watts is unrecognizable in real world use.
