Really like the shirt. Socks were a nice surprise. I may try the basic technique on a shirt with a new color I have and shaving cream on socks. But I'm not mixing as much. I like the white as contrast.

Thank you - I'm glad you like them! Yes, I like a little more white on the longer socks. I usually don't leave a lot on the shorter ones.

here's an idea for keeping your project out of the muck... i use a brick to lift the gutter edge up. the melt flows off the gutter into the container keeping the project out of the muck. after i am done i rinse the brick off and set it aside until i need it again. the shirt looks amazing! great job Angie. i have nineteen new colors that look great in the swatches i made and a twist is one of the techniques i wrote down to try as i have seven shirts that are my size and four large shirts to practice on.

That's a really good solution to keep the shirt out of the muck. I'm glad you like this one. It really allows the colors a long flow where they can split out and showcase all their beauty. If you're using one of your new colors with this technique, please choose one with lots of color splits. Have fun experimenting. It's always fun to try new things on a shirt that is your size - it's especially fun to experiment with new colors.

That's using only one color dye???!!!! That's so cool! I was going to do the gravity ice dye on a hoodie but I might do this instead.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! Yes, this is only Dusty Rose. I think the color splits and dye movement are amazing!

Wow, that actually does look like zombie skin. Parts rotted, parts ripped off down to muscle, parts just hanging there. This very well could be the texture used for skin in gaming when making zombies, flesh constructs, or even demons.

I didn't even think of that, but you're right! 🙂

I agree! Dharma brought back some great colors. Like I mentioned, I have done a single color Vintage Red and Moose and those colors are beautiful too. I'm photographing the shirts later and I hope to get the videos done soon. Vintage Red is similar to the Dusty Rose, but it doesn't have a lot of the soft yellow. The moose was a huge surprise with green and even some purple.

@@FunEndeavors I’m just so surprised by how many colors are in one color when first applied! It’s add such a unique dye pattern and color splits! It makes me watch to tie dye so bad!! Lol

@@nickgemerek6820 I was shocked too. I was expecting a couple of lighter pinks, but it was way better than that.

It probably won't fit inside of a piece of guttering, but you can incline it another way.

Can I use another detergent or has to be the dharma detergent? Thank you 😊
@FunEndeavors2 жыл бұрын
Any textile detergent will work. If you don't have textile detergent, you can use regular laundry soap.
