Thank you my friend! The cotton cord is cheap and I find it easy and nice to work with for prepping projects. It’s not as slippery as kite string and it ties well😊💜

Lol. I don’t blame you! The Tie was about 1.5 hours too and I did it all at once but I like to break up Tie and dye days as well. It’s more relaxing that way!😊💜

Thank you so much! I use fishing line for finer (smaller) lines. Then I go over with sinew to create some separation between the petals to help with bleeding😊💜

Thank you! Yeah it took quite a while to dye because the shirt was resisting the dye some. I didn't make it for me or anything, it was just an idea I had for about a month or so and wanted to see it completed 😁💜

Thank you! They all serve a purpose. Fishing line for snack and tight lines, sinew for separation to help with bleeding, cotton cord for prepping the material because it’s easy to work with and kite string to bind the scrunch for convenience and Tie tight without creating white lines😊💜

Anything with a tighter tie should probably be dry when your dying…you can always put soda ash water on it afterwards ☺️

You could but you will find that fishing line is super thin and some of your shirt could be touching and you can get bleeding that way.
