I'd love to how dying on the rack versus in the muck changes the results ?? thank you for your videos ❣️❣️

I think that rack dyeing makes the item look a little more bright. Muck dyed items are a little darker. Muck dyed items will also usually have darker lines on the bottom of the item where it sat in the muck. On a design like a geode those lines aren't really noticeable, but you can see them more on a design like a spiral.

Beautiful! Trying my first geode shirt today! I soaked the shirt and it dried already. Can I tie it up while it's dry or do you recommend spritzing it with water to make it damp again? Thank you again, for your awesome content!

Thank you! I usually tie the geodes when the shirt is damp, but you can try it when it is dry. I would probably spritz it though that will make it a bit easier to work with. I hope it turns out awesome - have fun!

Hi, I'm so inspired by your work. I want to do this design with a white denim jacket. How would the process be different, especially incorporating long sleeves and thicker material?

Thank you! I haven't ever tried this design with denim. If you can pull the sinew tight enough, it should work really well though and look amazing. I wouldn't overthink the sleeves - I'd just tie them the way you do the rest of the jacket. That sounds like a fun project!

Thank you so much! You should give them a try - they are lots of fun. You can't really wash too much dye out. The dye that is washing out is dye that hasn't reacted with the shirt. So, if you've left it long enough at a hot enough temperature - the dye coming out is just excess.
