Tier 3 Land and New Territories Explained

So we've seen a fairly big update with the introduction of T3 land, new territories and E-ther boosts.
First off let's look at what new territories are. If you think of how the borders of countries operate inside of Earth 2 now, each one has its own land value and its own boundaries. Territories are similar to that but inside of a country and are made up from existing Earth 1 boundaries. For example the United States will be broken down into states, Belarus will be broken down into regions and Malta, broken down into localities.
However once a territory does become independent the Tier 1 and Tier 2 land values do remain tied to the wider country and the independent pricing only appears to be that of the new Tier 3 land with T3 prices increasing independently from the country for each territory.

The UK isn't being separated yet. They have some work to do on it as it didn't divide as intended

@@Paceys another question mate. Obviously tier upgrades will come so countries like Belarus where land never got that high would it be cheaper to but tier 2 and wait instead of paying premium. Wish we knew if classes were upgradable or just tiers

Thank you Pacey. This voting system I am sure is going to have some real case uses .looks like more control and power over smaller localities that people have a stake in can be implemented. Looks so much better way of doing things compared to say a government election with two fixed choices.

Why would anyone want to purchase T3 land, it's basically useless. No thanks. I will stick with the T1 and T2

For the majority of existing users I completely agree with you and would continue to grow our T1/T2 holdings. However not only will T3 be a great entry point for new users but it's a great opportunity for MegaCity creators, we get to expand our cities or even create outposts and settlements in other locations.

I will likely just use it as roads in Minsk. I might be tempted to grab some US tiles too as they're just far more expensive than I'm willing to spend as is.
