Blue Slug and Sea Angel should be together. Sea Angel can search the Marincess spells, so you can either fetch the field spell which can turn Link 3 or 4 Marincess monsters in the Extra Monster zone into a pretty ass Ultimate Falcon or Marincess Dive which is a great combo extender for them.

I remember people running whole ass Crusadia line-ups in Thunder Dragons and shit because they're so easy to use for link plays and (surprise, surprise) can be toolboxed off of a nifty little Link-1 if a deck isn't normal summon-reliant. How the hell is _any_ Link-1 that searches gas for your combo in practically any hand anything lower than B-tier?

Yeah, but she's so strong by the mere fact that she can get you twice per turn a possible +1 thanks to that engage. Obviously it's the spell that is pretty much broken, but being able to use it two times per turn is kinda busted too

Kagari got hit more for the easy access Hornet Drones Link Climbing than easy access Engage spam, since it essentially turns that card into a free Link 2 starter. And Drones is honestly the only Egregious thing Engage can even search, aside from MAYBE Widow Anchor if you're going second and can dump a lot of spells.

I think that Dark Infant is A tier for two reasons: 1) it helps you a lot with combos (even because the field spell is kind of essential), but even later in the combo due to its ability to move to one zone he points to (which is a quick effect, so you can chain lock it to Dark Templar in order to go +3 on the field) and also he just requires a non-link @ignister monster, so you can make it with every @ignister main deck monster and Pegasus (and that opens up lots of interesting combos even without the starters) and especially you can make it with Gatchiri in order to make it immune to card effects and be sure to get that field spell

Tbf MMM doesn't do jackshit if you go first While Sera can give you advantages if you have shade Brigandine on your starting hand Those 2 link 1 broken in different way Sera basically carries the archetype while MMM only give you more advantage if opponent have more than 2 cards on the field as long it doesn't get negated

Imduk is both an extra normal summon and a free special summon when you send it to the GY, he can also destroy things it points to during battle without damage calc. This card makes running an all vanilla deck bearable. World Chalice is also pretty fun without legacy/ mekk-knight stuff, would recommend giving it a try.

Imduk is also a cheaper if not better than link spider on Eldlich deck too, you can send your normal trap monster to gy to make the eldlich engine runs rather than relying on your opponent to destroy it. You can also use it to destroy lava golem or kaiju you just summon.

On the topic of plant Link-1, here is my take on this Dryas - Tier A (The lynchpin of why plant often run the sunvalon engine due to the potential of extension play off this one card) Healer - Tier A/B (Useful when used in conjunction with Jasmine which is also a core part of plant deck, and the healing effect is good for aromage/aromage engine) Slasher - Tier A/B (Mostly useful for plant as an option to beat over boss monster or setting up OTK, less useful when going first) Guardna - Tier C (Honestly I don't even know if people run this other than pure sunvalon deck. Sunvalon is already quite tight in deckspace and this is mostly for protection purpose which Jasmine already kind of provide)

Trickstar bloom was basically just a body for NIghtshade or Lillybell to link climb a bit and chip a little more damage with either Lycoris/reincarnation or just spamming summons for Holly Angel. Weak but sometimes helps

Clara and Rushka is a good card in Weather Painters since it triggers the Cloud's effect to get back canvases from the gy. It's just a card for extreme cases, since Weather Painters just need their Link-3 monsters, Zeroboros and a big beatstick like Accesscode/Borrelload to work.

Marincess link one are busted - the whole combo is normal summon blue tang to send otter to GY, link summon to slug, slug will return otter to your hand, otter can summon herself to link arrow - then you summon angel which grabs you either your main spell around which is whole deck - battle ocean, or another extender

The best use of the Link 1 in Trickstar is that it gives you another name for Bella Madonna and, if you're going second and your opponent controls a S/T, you can use Live Stage to make a token -> make the Link 1, second token -> make a Link 2 without committing to your normal summon. It is still not very good.

sunvine trasher S tier 4000 atk, and steal opponent monster(when effect garbage) while having link 4 plant. sunavalon just last defence if you got multi negates. just link that 1 plant and pray. maybe S tier, because you can splash that into all plant deck. healer and gardna just so you not summon trasher before had link 3+. B (pure sunavalon) or C tier.

And even if the field spell isn't as powerbreaking, going first with it is required for Sunlight Wolf to add a Salad Spell/Trap from GY. Since we only run 1 sanctuary, Bale easily searches it. And with a face-up spell card like Sanctuary, in case there are no other face-up spell/trap, we are able to utilize Foxy's effect to special summon itself by pitching a Salad card. But for all its usefulness, imo, it's the destruction protection is what made Balelynx really good for Salads, even going second

The sunvine big shield dude is more like C tier. The others are probably good in A. Definitely the least useful and also isn't really played. Slasher: main damage dealer of the archetype, easily enables OTKs and can steal a monster in case you fail the OTK. Healer: basically makes all the Aromages live. So a big piece of those big one card plant combos. Shield dude: blocks some damage when opponent runs into him...i guess.

You are guaranteed Marincess dive or the field spell with Angel and Blue slug is the easiest way to cheese some extenders like Seahorse. These are too intrinsec to the archetype to not have in A.

Striker (for dragons) and lingrurboh (for cyberse) too, except I think he was thinking about how much play/usefulness they see in general rather than for specific decks. The fact is there is waay more good dragons and lv 1 monsters/monsters with less than 1000 atk and gy effects than spellcasters. That’s why artemis is so low, it’s only used for mechaba and dark magician, and even that deck prefers almaraj into secure gardna for extra materials to summon the dogmas.

Almiraj is clearly better than those 2 cards. Throwing a card for free to GY now is very useful, like Tri-brigade can use Kitt as link material for Almiraj, then mill Nervall, and then search another Brigade.

I don't think he considered that Striker is BOTH a way to get lvl 4 and below dragons in grave (which is how it's used in e.g. dragunity) but ALSO searches the field spell and ALSO can destroy a friendly monster to add a rokket to hand (and with rokket recharger in grave that means you can special ANY dark monster from your grave. Also pisty can special both from GY OR banished

Striker also is the best arrow to enable elpy and pisty and also triggers nocto and I'm sure you also know the recharger play with strikers second effect. Pretty bad list tbh, some cards placed in C or D have seen competitive success like Imduk, Anima, Artemis, Linguriboh, Secure Gardna, Reclusia, Sea Angel ... While some higher placed never topped anything like Sera, Sunavalon Gardna, the Abyss Actor one (i may be wrong on this one). You missed some uses of a lot of them tbh. But honestly it is hard to rank link 1 i believe, because you can both rank them in terms of how strong the card actually is, or just the utility being a link 1 provides. Like some of them could be vanillas and still see competitive play just because of their materials. Like idk Monk or Healer are actually trash cards but happen to be useful for their strategy.

I don't know about that, shizuku is a very important card in this deck , it searches imp cards for you in your turn and possibly in your opponents turn and it mitigates some of the damage of your opponents by decreasing their atk .
