I think audio books count but it drives me nuts when people say they “read” the book when in actuality they listened to it. So for me if they said it correctly I’d be fine! Some people don’t have the time or patience to sit down and read a book, just say ya listened to it! It still counts and is grammatically correct 😂

😂 I’m with you, as a busy working mom and back to college student lol I listen to most of my books now and I count them on my Goodreads. If I take the time to write reviews or write in my reading/listening journal it counts!

I want to try Georgana's Secret! The Mysterious Benedict Society is also a book I've been wanting to try for quite some time! I listen to audiobooks sometimes and I definitely count it! Because whether you listen to the book or physically read it you're still getting the same story. :)

Nope, nope the audiobook monkeys aren’t mine so I ain’t getting into this circus. For me I’d put A Lonely Dance in the “fangirl for the rest of my life” tier, and now I’m really interested in reading Wormwood Abbey someday, so yay!!!

I think consuming a book in any form is reading. I count them on goodreads. Currently I listen to all my audio at 1.75.

I think all readers know deep down(including myself), that audio isn’t classified as reading haha, if so, then all the fairytales my mother read to me as a child, she didn’t read, I can just say that “I read it” because I listened to her reading them to me. People who say audio is “reading” I can’t help to feel they desperately want to put it towards their reading count, buy the book, and place it on their shelf to seem like they have read it. It’s not a big deal so just admit it, and move on with your life loool, cosy people love cosy vibes which includes lots and lots of audiobooks!

It does look like 50 books. Good job with Wyvern. I do count my audio-books towards my reading challenge but break them out into a separate shelf for tracking. Generally, I bounce between 2.5 to 3 speed depending on the audio quality and accent of the reader.
