Alert the media, history has been made, the hater of Regency books (aka me) has been convinced by fangirl squealing to add A Game of Hearts to her TBR-I better not hate it, lol! It just sounds so cute! Maybe Guide Posts is finally getting with the times. 😆 I love Chaos Lindsey videos they’re so fun and make me laugh! Great video as always! 👍

Here’s your solution for the priority book list if you get to ten: Just add more books for next year and then you’ll have 20 again! 😜😂 Great video! I always love hearing you talk about books you love! 🥰

Hugs, girl! I cried watching you cry, haha, but I get it, I’ve been there. While I didn’t lose a parent of a sibling I did lose someone very close to me years ago and it still hurts so I totally understand. Thank you for being so real and raw, Lindsey. 💖💖💖💖💖

As a fellow writer, I feel for the author: writing is such a powerful way to heal, whether it be from grief or bitterness or whatever it is. The author of my favorite book said this about it, and it’s probably my favorite writing quote: “You can write books. But there’s only one book that’s really YOU.” It seems like this is that book for Erynn. ❤Also, as a reader, when you read a book with characters you sympathize with on that deep level, it hits so hard. ❤ (Btw: my family used to milk goats, and we thought “stanchion” was the funniest thing, because our last name is Stanch. 😂)

I cried while watching this! This sounds like a book that I should read, as someone who has definitely experienced grief. I think of you and your grief quite often, and try to remember to send up a prayer for you and your family ❤️

Never be embarrassed or compare your grief to other people. Grief is hard no matter who has passed. Thank you for being real about it. And you're beautidul even when you're crying! That sounded creepy, sorry lol. I just meant not to worry about crying on the internet lol. 😅

Thank you so much for being real in this video. Thank, so so much. This video is beautiful because it is so truly real. It reminded me that we are all people with hurts, and that's ok.

For fairy tale retailing's I really enjoyed two out of the three books of the Tales of Eukarya series by Sarah Beran. Really cute and sweet main guys! (Very squeaky clean too!) (Cords of Green and Gold and A Bond of Ice and Sunshine)

A retelling series I read on KU is the Redwyn Chronicles. They're Christian non-magical fantasy (though content note for tastefully handled human trafficking).

Ohh Melanie Cellier is clean fiction! I wasn't sure. I get what you mean about the retelling part of her stories are less obvious, I agree! I have only read the Little Mermaid retelling and yeah whilst I would have noticed the connections I wouldn't necessarily have known it was an actual retelling!

I got into reading seasonally last winter (properly Jan this year onwards so far) and I have enjoyed it! I really want to read the matchmaker series now you said they are good for escapism! My dad died a couple weeks ago so I am very much in need of a fun, light, forget about life read atm! Xx
