I remember playing as a T-Rex while trying to eat a corpse of a triceratops that was near the shorelines. My hunger bar was low so I had to replenish it and hunting will just consume my stamina. So I ate it. And boy was I punished man. The mosasaur build was so broken that it broke off my tail and I died because it suffocated me on the water. Now I have the thalasophobia debuff as a human main because of that.

I used to main the Ptero cuz I loved flying, unfortunately I flew war to far out and ran out of stamina . I had to Land on a tiny stone in the sea, those mosa's are merciless. It snapped me before I could take my feet of the stone and I got dragged pretty violently down under. I now have a permanent " Broken bone" debuff on my kneecaps.

Cody Young T’was sad and a huge relief. We lost the Sea God fight, which was bullshit, but gained a far more balanced combat system. Like, we got deers which are good in speed but rock stupid and hyenas which are good pack players but are kinda trash on their own. Sadly we lost some really fun tank builds, such as spiky porcupine lizard. I do think it’s best we lost things like megalosaurus and T. rex, shit would be too janked.

The Human playerbase is still a fairly new addition to the meta but, in what little time they've had, they changed the world in so many ways. The primary issue right now is the parasitism and overpopulation is beginning to take a more serious toll on current tribe policies. It's happened before during the Roman empire era. The only real difference now is the Human playerbase has far more destructive weaponry.

Mosasourus is a great example of how a simple build can get really o.p. with little resistance if it's balanced right. They were even able to top sharks in the Ocean Biomes, a feat very few build have ever accomplished, and mosasaurus accomplished it without the high intelligence stats of today's dolphins and orcas.

Mosasaurus is even more op because even if the attack is not lethal you can immobilise anyone, and then you can attack again. Only downside is that if they are still alive and you eat them they can eat your food from inside you.

While the idea of a feathered T-rex was tossed around when evidence of featheres was found in the fossils of other species, no evidence has been found that the T-rex had feathers, and in fact there is contrary evidence. Portrayal of a feathery T-rex is as paleontologically inaccurate as Jurassic Park's portrayal of velociraptors as featherless, six-foot tall killing machines. It muddles the actual study of the creatures, and is nothing more than a (tiresome) ploy by people who get off on destroying other peoples' childhood fantasies more than they value the factual study of biological history.

@@francescocommisso5352 Yeah, but perception would also be broad. Visual perception is one of the few stats the human build is good at, but it sucks at most other perception stats. I think this is better represented as a tertiary stat (placed on page 2 or further on the stat screen), which gets a bonus from intelligence but not necessarily limited by it. A lot of insects have top tier perception (especially with scent and visual perception for detecting movement), but they have trash tier intelligence.

@@mwperk02 Dataminers have found some hidden code. And some human mains managed to hack those servers, but it took them years and they only managed to keep the connection for a few days at a time. So far they only managed to send 12 players on those servers, then they decided it was just too much hastle. Lately there has been increased interest so we might even see some attempts at hosting private servers. Devs haven't responded to anything yet, though.

T-Rexes are dead and gone, their line of succession died with them. The ancestors of modern chickens were almost certainly smaller prehistoric birds (avian dinosaurs), since they would be more likely to survive the harsh conditions that came after the meteor crash. Mosasaurs and T-Rexes not so much, they require a lot of food to sustain, and with harsh weather and little food around, the answer to "where are they now" is "fossilized in the ground".
