Thanks for the videos! I hope that you continue to get better and continue to celebrate the tiny or big victories in ur progress! I really hope all gets better and better! Im cheering for you and appreciate these honest videos you are posting! I hope the med u r on now helps you, also just a thought but... have u ever tried adding papaya even if its half a cup to each meal that u eat.... i hear it REALLY helps with constipation but u have to do it faithfully! Ive found that the really ripe papayas are the sweetest I think part of my problem is really bad Gerd and ur symptoms and complaints are very much like mine.... even how u explain that u dont want to worry about how the water is gona taste etc...u just dont want to think about it and just eat and drink normal! ....im thinking of pushing for a hiatal hernia repair as well as the tif. But where i live the GIs are stuck on ppis ONLY... may i ask what surgeon and Gi did ur repair and tif???

Thank you so much for the kind words. Really appreciate it! I have not heard of papaya but will certainly give it a try. Sorry to hear the docs are pushing the PPI. I had side effects and was really against taking it. The Gastro NP i spoke to most about my issues said to get a TIF, 1) I needed to ne on a PPI for 6 months with no help (if i recall correctly) and 2) needed ro show wvidence od reflux on a test of some sort (i think this was the esophogram). I was not on the PPI nor did i show reflux, but, given my history, they said ok for surgery i guess. I had 2 surgeons both through UC Health. TIF - Michael Nosler HH repair - Michael Roller Yes, 2 Mike's I still think, as bad as things have remained that i would still stay with TIF. Linx was not covered by insurance and Nissen (full fundoplication) didnt appeal to me. Just scared me. TIF seemed like a much better and more modern approach. Good luck!
