about 3-4 missed the point of the movie completely, asking solutions for the mysteries.

The movie was pretty clear about whether Ben killed Haemi (or not) and why would he kill her (or not). The director made that clear because it’s the main message of his movie (of all his movies actually) and he stands by it, which I find admirable. As for the other mysteries, they didn’t need to be solved because they’re too complicated to figure out (like he said) and also because the point of the movie was to reflect deeply on them.

Why didn't they offer him a chair? The man is in his 60s. Answering questions standing for 25 minutes couldn't have been easy.

I wonder how it feels to be a genius film maker and be asked of these r/woosh type of questions. I guess it will be forever a mystery.

Some are actually legit questions about filmmaking, the craftsmanship and thought process behind the creation of this work of fiction, but others feel just like lazy attempts at getting around the mysteries proposed by the narrative.

I actually thought the interpreter was very sloppy, she kept tripping over her notes, all she had to do was read them back, yet there were so many pauses and uh and um um um. Compare this to Sharon Choi who is very clear and articulate and concise when she translates for director bong.

As an interpreter I have to say you are def wrong when you say that's all she had to do. Interpreters don't take "notes" per se, we try to note down as much info as possible as fast as possible in a shorthand way (using only specific words we deem important, mostly abbreviations, points, numbers, etc.). You wouldn't be able to read through the notes of a professional interpreter, only we can understand them. It's not a dictation, she's rephrasing what they say using mainly her memory and a bit of the points she managed to write down.
