I have played this Nocturno and heard so many interpretations of it, but this one, I think, is the best. The phrasing is so well, the dynamics also so well, the interpretation as a whole and the touch is that of an angel, which is what this beautiful piece needs.

The one with a lowercase c, classical, is broader, encompassing Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, and Contemporary time period art music.

Not sure why this video has dislikes. Sure we all have different opinions of what this piece should sound like, but I have a feeling that if someone took the audio of this video and put it to a Trifonov or Horowitz video, there would hardly be any dislikes. People have so much preconception :/ Anyway: This rendition is extremely well-played. Each chord is played with perfect balance and simultaneousness, even the relative velocity of all inner notes is spot on. The timing is superb, still enough micro-rubatos to make it sound human and deeply emotional. I listened through a lot of renditions of this piece on youtube and I must say this is the best one I found.
