So this is totally off topic, but the way James looks at you when you talk about things you're so passionate about makes my heart melt. He truly cares about you and what you say-- and that's to be expected as he is your husband and he loves you dearly-- but it's just so beautiful how it is captured on film every time he's in a video with you. I don't know it just really inspires me to see that ya'll are both so supportive of each other. I hope I have that some day :)

Agreed, ask Girl! Totally think it’s okay to be the first to ask. But if he won’t initiate to pursue after that, he might be passive and you don’t want a passive guy :):)

Ok so I know it’s been two years, but hopefully y’all still see this comment cause I need some advice🤗 At what point after the first time y’all hang out do you make the call “hey, he isn’t really initiating texting (especially in COVID with not being able to see each other) so I should just cut my losses and move on.” Doesn’t it take some people more time to decide if they want to pursue something than just one hang out session? I have a “hang out” in a few days and even though I’m a senior in college, I don’t have much dating experience so I’m not sure what’s the line between continuing to pursue the relationship/get to know each other and cutting losses and moving on.
@ShauntelAngelica4 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! I had to cut my losses with a guy because of that. He became passive and I realised it was because I initiated first and for someone with his personality it was an excuse for him to just sit back and be extremely passive.

I love Jame's comment on the last one about how you don't have to share intimate details with people you aren't that close with. I have often struggled with that because it's like, well how many people do I tell? In the end, I have decided to just tell certain things with those that I am really close with and that has worked for me.

0:42 "I have no red flags...." We *ALL* have red flags. The sooner you acknowledge that, the better your relationships will be.
@valerielinares20684 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on how you define "red flags." If we're defining "red flags" as flaws and weak points, yeah, that's true. However, if we're defining "red flags" as deal breakers like they're unequally yoked, they can't agree on Biblical principles, their personalities are not very compatible, their communication styles are not very compatible, their abusive, then there is a difference. Red flags are more like deal-breakers, not just general flaws that everyone has.

Tiffany, what advice do you have for those who are in their older twenties and early thirties who pray to God for someone to date, but yet God doesn't send any decent guys your way. And what do you do when you finally meet a decent guy? James mentioned about dating multiple people (guys), but in all honesty, I pray to God that He just sends me one good guy He would like me to marry, especially when I am not that young. Also, I would like to add my thoughts about daydreaming. I agree with you. The less you daydream the better for the individual (especially girls) It can go too far and also you can get emotionally attached with the person you daydream about. This isn't very good, because the person (guy) can turn out quite opposite to what one is daydreaming about. Thus please make a video about tips what you can do to avoid daydreaming, and prepare yourself to be ready when the right person comes along. Thank you!

You two are such a sweet couple. You have such a great dynamic together. You may've mentioned this in video I haven't yet seen, but I think one of the reasons James is such an awesome husband is because he doesn't seem to have a temper of an inclination toward anger at all! Anger is a major warning sign in guys imo, and the Bible talks about it at as dangerous as well. God bless you two!

When I was a freshman and sophomore I talked with this guy that I really cared for. We weren't really a thing, but I assumed we were together since we talked all the time. It wasn't until I asked what I was to him. He said that he cared about me, but wasn't ready for a long term relationship. I broke off communication with him because he hurt me very much. A week after we stopped talking I saw him walking down the hallway with another girl holding her hand and laughing. I'm a senior in high school now and every now and then he'll tell me hey in the hallway or whenever he sees me. Whenever something major happens (hospital trip, my dad;s cancer scare, etc,.) he gets in contact with me through messaging and checking up on me. He has a girlfriend now I think they've been together for about a year or two. I keep asking myself what does she have that I don't have... I'm still battling with this today, but your video really helped me out. Thank you

It's not what she has that you don't, it's what she has that's different from you. She isn't better than you, she's different than you. Maybe she fit with him better than you did. Maybe if you had gotten into things with him it would have ended badly and God saved you from that situation. There's a man out there who will love you with his whole heart and who will fit with you perfectly, you just have to wait on God and trust that God will make it happen 💖

Sis, I have been where you are. I agree with the comment above mine. Plus you are still young to even consider teenage boys and young men as husbands. Learn to love yourself. Ask God to help you see yourself the way He sees you. Get into God’s word and face. You have so much life ahead of you... Get your degree, travel the world, learn life skills (adulting lol), get your career, get a hobby, have a better relationship with your family, etc. Enjoy your singleness. These are ways to prepare to be a wife as well. Pray that your husband does the same.

You guys are so sweet together, and both have such good advice. I’m probably not the target audience since I feel I’m a bit older than the girls with these questions. I’m 34, but I’m still single, and I am just really enjoying the dynamic you have. I would have really liked hearing this advice in high school and college too.

Tiffany Dawn if you consider someone as potential but then during interraction they make ageism remarks say if your older then them, or if they keep questioning a past relationship they know about you and whether you have feelings for an ex several years should you take this as a character flaws & insults on their behalf?

Tiffany Dawn if you consider someone as potential but then during interraction they make ageism remarks say if your older then them, or if they keep questioning a past relationship they know about you and they wonder whether you have still have feelings for an ex that existed several years ago!! should you take this as their character flaws & insults or are they just testing your reactions? this has happened on two ocassions by suprise with two seperate people who i thought were potentials which completely put me off them. It feels as though when too many people think they know so much about your life they make judgements based on the outcome which can be fustrating when you have moved on a loong time ago and your ready to meet someone new! #smalltownproblems
@TiffanyDawn6 жыл бұрын
Oh man! That sounds like a really tough situation! I think so much of it depends on the way they say these things. For example, are they sharing that you being older is a concern for a particular reason, or are they shutting it down and saying "this could never work because you're older than me"? Another example, are they genuinely wondering if you've been able to work past the old relationship, or are they accusing you of not moving on? I think looking at the way it's said makes all the difference. I hope that helps in some way! That does sound frustrating! :(
@valerielinares20684 жыл бұрын
Just want to put it out there that in some cases God can tell an individual that so and so is meant to be their spouse, even if they have not dated them. Of course, this type of situation needs to be treated with careful prayer, objective confirmation, and wisdom from godly people. Nevertheless, if it is God's will, He can inform someone of who their spouse is meant to be. Just to put it out there for those who might be wondering.
@db44196 жыл бұрын
That second to last question: girls do that too :) That's been my experience (I'm a guy). Interacting with them, getting to know them, actually thinking there could be a possibility and they "seem" possibly interested for a time.... then "kaput". Nothing 🤷♂️..I guess loss of interest... but then you're left to "realize" that long after the fact... 🤷♂️

Love love love your advice and videos! 😍 You guys always have a pick-me-up when I need it--my only complaint is when I run out of videos to watch because I've literally seen them all! 😂 Anywho, I have a question: "so there's this guy" lol, he's the typical party/play-boy variety at my college. Numerous times he's offered to hang out, but because I am more spiritually mature than him (I honestly don't know what his beliefs towards God are) I've jokingly turned him down. However, it's like every time I've forgotten about him--like, it'll be months between talking--, he pops up again. Should I hang out with him to be a spiritual witness to him? So few college students know Jesus, and so I know it's my duty to share his love with them... could that be why he keeps popping up? Or is that a bad idea since his values are wayy not in line with mine? I'd appreciate any advice! Love you guys!! Jordan ❤
@TiffanyDawn6 жыл бұрын
Oh I'm so glad you love the videos!! And that's such a great question! In my personal opinion, a lot of it depends on where your heart is, and the way in which you hang out. For example, if you're going to be really tempted to slowly fall in love with him, then maybe it's not a great idea to spent lots of quality time 1:1. But maybe you could invite him along with a group of your friends, or something like that. I think it just depends on the person. I hope that can help in some way! :):)
