I love your videos! I have a boy in my church and a long time ago, I had the feeling, that God prepared him for me as the One. I prayed a lot to God before, that he will show me the One , and so I thought that he has answered me. I got to know this boy better and realised, that I don't like him very much and I can't imagine a future life with him... Right after that I read in the Bible a Verse, that totally fits in my situation and says, that if we pray for God to show us something, we shouldn't be wondered, if he shows us that. That vers made me totally sad and I struggled a long time with that, because I thought maybe God wants me to be with someone I don't like... Now a few years later this boy seems to have feelings for me (we didn't have much contact the last years) and the struggle begins again, because I still don't have feelings for him... Have you got any advice for me? I know that God just wants the best for me and loves me but in this situation I don't know whats right...

Oh that is such a great question, and a confusing situation to go through! I used to fear that God wanted me to be with someone I didn't like. Now, I don't think He does. I think the person we marry is someone we want to be with, that we have the desire to be with. And sometimes we want to be with someone, and God shows us that it's not a wise choice, and He has something better fitted for us. But I think if we don't want to be with someone, God can of course change our desires so we want to be with that person, but if He doesn't change our desires, then I think we shouldn't be with that person. That's my personal opinion. I think if you develop feelings for this guy, that's one thing. But if you continue to have no feelings for him, I wouldn't worry too much about it, and I wouldn't date him. I hope that can help in some way! I think having someone older and wiser who knows you and this guy personally can also help--someone you can talk with more about this. :)

Thankyou so much Tiffany and James, for these videos. It really cleared up a lot of my questions about dating, relationships and marriage. I have never had a Christian relationship let alone a real one at all, most of them have been me trying to tell God they are right but then realising I'm being silly, and end them 😂. By watching your videos, it has helped me to breathe in His peace and realise that relationships aren't like a disney movie, there's no perfect way for "the one" to come around and if you do it wrong you'll "miss it" which isn't true. Gods plan is perfect, we just have to align and follow God and it'll happen the way He has planned it to. I have based dating off watching others and movies so having advice from a real couple, being real, is very helpful. So thankyou. God bless you both. 😄💗

I was really blessed When God Jehovah told me I was getting married again (first hubby is with our Lord). And gave me a dream of what he looked like and now I’m waiting for ‘the one’ God chose. I’ve had to get cleaned up from what I went thru with the first hubby. Now I’m on the last step before the One comes to me as Lord YHWH TOLD ME. THIS CLEANING PROCESS HAS BEEN BOTH HEAVEN AND HELL ON EARTH , but now I won’t make any mistakes ALL BECAUSE OF YAH. AS i said I’m SOOOO BLESSED

What do I do if I believe God has told me who my future husband is but I don't talk to him very often? While in church during one of the worship songs we made eye contact and smiled at each other and I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and comfort as if God said, "This is him. He is the one." (Note this has happened twice) I later shrugged it off thinking it could just be myself making this situation into something I want so desperately so I asked God to give me some sort of sign. A sign was indeed given directly after the sermon ended that very same day. I am still a bit wary though. Could this actually be true or am I just imagining the whole thing and seeking out little coincidences to make myself believe this is the real deal? Please help me clarify if this is from God or just in my mind.

This is such a great question!! I think with something like this, we simply can't know if it's true until time has passed. Time is such a beautiful gift from God, as it tests these things we hear in our hearts, and it gives us a chance to get to really know people. Because you're right, it's so easy to get our emotions confused with God's voice! And time is the test, in my opinion. I think the biggest thing is to not let those words color your perception of the guy. Meaning, if/when you start getting to know him, don't automatically think, "This is it!" Because then you can easily miss huge warning signs. You want to get to know a guy with eyes wide open, honestly evaluating who he is, what his character is, and if you guys would be a good fit. And then as time passes, and you see if he is a good fit or not, that's the test of time, finding out if those words you felt in your heart were emotions or were God's voice. Does that make sense? I hope this can help in some way! :):):) I love having you here as part of our little "Girl Talk" community! ❤️

I am going to wait to see what God does with this situation, something I strongly believe He is leading me to do because I keep seeing and hearing bible verses about patience everywhere and from everyone lately. Every time that happens I smile a bit and say, "Okay God, I hear you."

As a single Christian male, who's devoted to God for the past 4.5 years and yet in search of the appropriate other-half (as my vision), should I at least attempt to get to know the people who attend my church services (worship) of course after the services are done? Of course my criteria of my other half would also be a regular church attender. Yes I'm aware that even in Church services, sisters outnumber brothers.
