Right on you’re gonna love it 👍🏻 the red and blue welders are great, but my buddy’s evergreens and harbor freight welders do just as good for a fraction of the cost

Dude you ain’t lying!!! I told myself it would take 3days to a week…. Brother, 3 weeks, a literal heart attack, a flooded house and so much more but here we are 😂💪🏻 can’t wait to hear these bad boys light off. Did you do an exhaust builders kit or just rig up your existing exhaust? That will likely be next on the list, I have some old school pypes violater mufflers and a 2.5” stainless builder kit

@@HandDriven I build mine out of stainless pipe I pulled off another car wasn’t even for a Foxbody but it had the x pipe and quite a few bends and straights I just made it work. Turned out good. I did buy the pypes 3inch tailpipes.

Right on that’s my kind of style 👍🏻 I have an entire shed full of old exhaust I hold on to to do things like that. I’ve been happy with pypes stuff. I’ve been running their stuff since the late 2000s

@@HandDriven one thing that might help your stainless tig welds is the cup size I run a furick Fupa 12 at 20-25cfh gas flow really seemed to help my tig welds

I’ve heard the FUPA cups rip! I definitely want to improve my tig setup, not just want, need to. It does ok for aluminum but just starting on steel and stainless I’m learning quick my set up and technique need some serious work. Thank you for the tips I’ll have to look into some bigger cups 👍🏻👍🏻

Came out nice! What was the reasoning behind building vs buying headers?

Thank you my friend! Essentially it boiled down to cost and budget. This 351 is kind of a temporary motor while I build a stroker, and didn’t want to put too much money into that could go into that motor. I’m roughly $500 into the whole swap. If I had to choose again, and had a little more time, I may have waited to find a decent used set. However I learned a lot and will be just that much happier to hear it fire up 😁
