Tiger 660 Luggage Rack Install

Great video, i just bought one myself. I have 3 other bikes so this is not new to me. The dealer i bought it from installed all the options at 15% off the list price (i.e. no add'l labor charge). I think some dealers can smell blood in the water. Not a complaint, just a shared experience. Cheers

Thanks for the excellent video! One question: If I want to install a Givi top box (and its mount), I would do that right on top of this Triumph luggage rack, correct? Cheers!

If you can figure out how to line up holes in the Givi Mounting plate to the rack, you are golden. or maybe as I did, I had to drill two extra holes in the rack. I haven't personally tried the Givi mounting plate as I have a Shad top box. The Shad mounting plate has slots as well and that makes things easier.

Nice video. I couldn't find anywhere how much weight I can carry on this rack. Do you have this information?

It says 11lbs ??? on www.triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9500896-US.pdf so I'm guessing that they don't want any liability as the rack and mounting is strong enough to manhandle the bike around. :-) The weight limitation seems then to be mostly about balance of the bike.

So how heavy are the old grab rails, if the new are 6lb. Im going to guess 2 1/2 lb.

Hard to weigh on the bathroom scale but measures 4 lbs … they do feel pretty substantial in the hand.
