Bro my Siamese tigerfish is not eating food whilst other tank mates are . It is not sick for sure but it is not the first to snatch a guppy and even feeding with a feeding stick it’s not taking the bait

I got two grade A Sumatra datnoids one of my favourite fish mine is stable 100% got it in with my arowana these fish are hard to get off live food

Well just making them happy so not bright lights or get them use to bright lights and having good water conditions that’s all I do! I do water changes every 3-4 days only 10-15% tho and diet these fish are fussy until u starve them on other food hope that helped and make sure they are not getting bullied and stressed

Datnoids can be wicked man. Some years ago, I was temporarily keeping a big arro and a dat together in a huge heavily planted bin in my living room. As I was working on a halide set-up for some small polyp stoney corals, I glanced over down into the bin. The arawanna was cruising back and forth the length, and as he passed, I noticed one of his eye balls was gone. He wasn't upset or anything, I thought maybe I just missed something; it really upset me though. They were both fine, just chillin. After a while, I glanced back again, and his other eye was gone. The arawanna was just swimming along like nothing's wrong ! I was super upset. No question - That son-of-a-bitch blinded my beautiful arawanna ! The SOB plucked both of his eyeballs sraight out of my his head ! The arawanna was just kickin-it like he was board or something. It was a super bad trip 😖 That bastard came close to duck-tape on the electric stove ! Mother-F@#$er @ ! I love datnoids, but I hate the little fu%&er's. Be super careful with these fish man. They make serial killers look like your last love interest. I couldn't believe it. I freaked. That is so messed up. Ruthless little bastards. That was like, a long-ass time ago and I'm still pissed. Datnoid's are pricks man - straight up. Sorry, bad memories. Tiger datnoids, shit, I still miss that stove-scene. Anyway, 🤐, they're beautiful fish. A fish eater like you can't believe. Be careful, thier mouths are MUCH bigger than you think. They may look big enought to handle a fat minnow - next thing you-know half the state of Wisconsin is in thier throats. Thier mouths are super enormous. I don't know, if I should try again or not. I mean - whats next ? I want them, and I want to pan-fry them at the same time. Nobody ever mentions these fish when they're talkin big or mean or hard to keep. Big ? Yeah, don't ever worry about starvin. Mean ? Maybe it's just me; 🤔 yeah right. Hard to keep ? Well, maybe not. If you have an electric stove. ☻.

Datnoids are super expensive (except silver datnoid) . And i also agree my datnoid frickin jump to the other side of the divider and killed my flowerhorn🥺. Bcoz pf datnoids being expensive they arent included in the general big mean fishes like bass or red tail. A platinum 4" NTT dat can cost over $$$

Slow compared to other monster fish. Clean water and a varied diet will make them grow slightly quicker though.

Personally I like the Silver Datnoid more. They grow smaller and are more tolerant to freshwater
