You've correctly labelled the M96 and subsequent Porsche flat 6 engines as wet sump. "Integrated dry sump" was a term invented ny Porsche for marketing reasons, I'm sure. Some Porsche owners with the M96 and M97 engines who went to the track found out the hard way the limitations of their engines under high G forces. It was only after 2009 when Porsche brought out the 9A1 engine that it managed to perfect the integrated dry sump and overcome oil starvation under high G loads.
