Today we talk about my favorite all-time golf game "Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004" and I share my honest thoughts and opinions on the game after going back to it here in 2021, I played the game using the dolphin GameCube emulator and I just needed to make a video on what a god-tier game this actually was and still is today.

This game has to be one of the most nostalgic video games for me. So many fond memories of playing this with my dad when I was little, and even now, in 2022, it's still so fun! This game has to have the most replay value out of any game that I've ever played. It's so good and underrated.

I'm a 2005 guy myself, it's one of my absolute favorite games ever, but really 03 and 04 were both fantastic as well. Glad I'm not alone in appreciating these genuinely amazing games :)

Man pga tour 2005 was the best golf game ever created by installed 2k golf on my ps5 I couldn’t even have it installed for more then 30 mins it was so plain Jane . this game was goated

I loved 03 and 05 but 04 has always been #1 in my heart. Only requirement is changing the soundtrack to only play Party Up by DMX

We had this for GameCube, I hadn't played a golf game since Waialae Country Club for N64, and man did we like it. One time my sister and I were poking around in the saved content and found that my dad had saved a lot of awesome shots, we had no idea how much he had been enjoying this game. You get so many triumphant moments, the odd chip-in, double eagle ...

PGA Tours 04-06 are my favourite golf games to play. 04 has my favourite fantasy characters from the World Tour.

I can relate to what you said at 3:30. I lived around 35 min away from Pinehurst which is in this game. A lot of good memories of playing this game.

Me and my boys pumped about 600hrs into this game over the course of the summer that it came out, drinking and building characters and playing skins. It was either this or NBA live 2004. Which was also one of the greatest games ever made.

2K4 was actually rated the best version out of all of the Tiger Woods PGA Tours by a few websites. I actually think 2K5 is better but that's my opinion

I can’t hear ‘Party up’ by DMX without immediately thinking of this game. The strange characters you could make, the wacky celebrations, and under all this was the best golf game I’ve ever played.

Yeah I remember inviting friends over to play in primary school and being undefeated on 04, 😅06 was a different story I kept loosing haha I liked the way you had the full screen when playing as you take turns up to 4 players

Great video props man, I moss theese games 2005 let you customize your golf swing they don't even do that anymore and as a golfer I would love that option. Customization over all is way worse now.

Pga tour 06 was my favourite because of time travelling and the dialogue. From 2003 till 2010 in the ps2 series 06 is the only time that players and fantasy characters could actually talk. I really miss those days of pga tour 06. If EA sports ever decides to re release the 2003 to 2010 versions of the game as a package deal then that would be absolutely fantastic.

Pretty much all those PS2 era Tiger Woods games are fantastic, and I agree 2004 probably was the best of the lot, with 2005 probably being a close 2nd, for me. But that said, its a good idea to get all the games in the series, if only for the array of different courses that each game features. There were quite a few courses that did appear on multiple games but from memory, there was always a purchase incentive to buy the new yearly releases, as there were usually a couple of real world courses that had not been included on the previous releases and those fantasy courses were generally unique to each subsequent title; with the odd exception where some courses were bounced over to the following years release. But yes, TW 04 was my favourite and I think had the most rewarding gameplay and features. Wonderful game!

The best of this series was 2003, 2004 and lastly 2005. Each has their own strengths imo. 2004 was peak but 2005 was still great. Once they started messing with the putting it went downhill. The putting is fun not frustrating through these 3 titles. I know they were shooting for more realistic putting but I think the arcade like play made the game more enjoyable. You didn't have to understand putting you just had to count and it was still challenging.

I will always disagree with any video title that states this, 05 is better for one reason, the Legend tour concept in 05 is miles better than 04's regular-a$$ world tour. I mean who wants to play against jimmy no name when you can play against guys like Nicklaus, Palmer, and the Goat himself, Sunday Tiger Woods!
