I do love your videos especially about the Hungarian tank crews, I have Hungarian family who fought in ww2 and since the only source of information I can get about them were through diaries and memorabilia which my great grand mother brought to the U.S before the iron curtain shut down, I only know very little. From the diary I believe my Hungarian tankmen relative was a gunner for multiple vehicles, one of them being a Turan. (Not sure if it was a I or a II) I'd like to think he was fighting for Hungary until the end as a skilled tank crew and your words at the end, where Hungarian proved they did not lack in skilled tank crews, hit a cord, thanks.

The Hungarians finally get Tigers! Thank you for the excellent video; it's a subject I'd never heard of because I didn't know the Hungarians had Tigers. I thought they only had lots of light tanks and other armored vehicles. I'm betting they gave us Hell, the Hungarians are no joke and I give Full Respect to them🫡

8:28. Thanks for your efforts, I understand finding good stuff on Hungarian history is very hard in English. I will just clarify that in Hungarian sources it is well known that 10 Tigers (Pzkw VI E) were handed over to the Hungarians in Galicia and that they had no time to paint Hungarian markings, so used them in German colours, but as part of the 3/1 Tank Battalion of the 3rd Tank Regiment, assigned to the 2nd Hungarian Army. Of these, 3 returned to Hungary after numerous battles, the Tiger losses mainly due to lack of spare parts. Vitéz (Valiant) Ervin Tarczay was the country's Tiger ace, later transferring to Panther tanks. In today's army, there is a battalion named after him, the 11th vitéz Tarczay Ervin Btn, part of the 1st Armoured Brigade. Hope this helps!

I did detect one major flaw in this voiced article. It’s Porsche, Not porsh😜 The ‚e‘ at the end isn‘t silent, it‘s pronounced like the ‚e‘s in Henschel like you did say absolutely correct😉 Besides this little native german nerd rant I really enjoy your work gents!

Tbf its quite common in English speaking countries to pronounce Porsche, as "Porsh".

As an american i can confirm that porsh is wrong. it is porsche

@ravenouself41813 жыл бұрын
they would have still lost stalingrad. the question is will they have lost the entire army or just a chunk of it.
