For all the people taking photos, criticizing, looking on, only one guy was helpful! Well done to that man, I have helped many HGV drivers reversing and I use to drive HGVs years ago but the stress, long hours, ungrateful customers, made me throw the towel in. Great driving and with the use of google maps hopefully can make deliveries easier to gauge!

Me too, was tramping for 28 years. I had enough, I too threw the towel in. I remember regularly calling at Kings Langley. The call was about 200 yards down a residential street. Drive in, reverse out in to a main street with heavy traffic. As truckers we hate London with so many steering wheel zombies. Do you zombies think we like delivering to Sadiq Khan's shithole.

I'm a HGv driver now but remember as a child going with dad ( can't do that now ) and finding another driver get himself stuck and was just sat crying at the wheel. My dad parked up got out and asked him to move to the passenger seat then put the truck where it needed to be. He returned to me in the truck and said to me . Everyone has one of those days and needs a hand now and again. Never forgotten it

I gave up driving artics 30 years ago. Now, they are even bigger, but still expected to deliver to the same drops with all the added cars parked anyhow. I have driven tippers for 19 years and around East London on a Friday at 2pm (you know what I am saying) trying to get around corners with cars parked on the double yellows......Hats off to you.

I’ve done a few places like this in artics, it’s not for the faint hearted mate and you done well. The one thing I learnt was always go out the same way as you come in, even if it’s in reverse! lol We used to do a place in Paris where you had to reverse down a one way street and over a junction half way down.. it was so tight a man from the warehouse would walk up and meet you and as you reversed down he’d fold the mirrors in on all the cars!! It was a bloody nightmare of a place. Anyway, you kept your cool so well done.. the general public haven’t got a clue how much stress is on the driver in situation like this..
