Jim, Joint replacements have given me the ability to go wade fishing and cast from bouncing boats. Physical therapy is critical.

It's that point in the Northeast where we shift from Trout Fishing to the inshore salt water. You timed it just right with this one, Timmy! Its fairly cheap and a quick to tie, being lazy I like that, Oh I forgot I am also cheap, except when it comes to fly fishing.

They sell this exact fly at Stroud Tackle in San Diego, CA. It's my favorite fly for spotted bay bass and halibut in Mission Bay. My favorite color is red over white.

This looks like it would work well for tarpon or snook, maybe with lighter eyes. Or tied in olive could be a sculpin imitation. Nice!

Do be careful using lighter eyes. If you go too light the fly will want to badly cant to the side or ride hook point down.

In Argentina, sole fishing became very popular, we use very similar patterns as well as other patterns such as deciever, the sole's favorite food is a fish called silverside and we try to imitate them, we use colors like chartouse and red that are very different from the color of the silverside

You can use a Gamakatsu SL11-3H or an Eagle Claw 084A in size 1/0. I tied some on the Gamakatsu hooks and they look fine.

@@edwardmlotkiewicz2343 a b10s would probably work also and a lil more budget friendly compared to the sl series. not as strong though. I'm a big fan of stinger hooks but maybe the smaller gap might affect hook up rate?
