I don’t do bottom liner often as it can close up my eyes but you could try using a very thin liner brush for bottom lid

I wonder, how do you know which eyeliner is suitable for tightlining ? I don’t use pencils as they irritate me, and I’m looking for some gel eyeliners to use with a brush. Everytime I find one, the seller tells me it’s not for tightlining. So how can we be sure ? Thank you !

Please please do a video on how to remove this stuff from your waterline!! It doesn't come off! I use the neutrogena make up wipes but they hurrt when i try to remove them 😅😭

@@KellyNg9 thank you very much! Yeah my doctor said to wipe outside but not attempt to remove anything from the waterline with a wipe. She said that its okay to leave it there because eventually it will be washed away by tears etc - she suggested i can wash out with oil based PF eyedrops like refresh mega-3

A optometrist said never tight line your eyes, it’s one way to get eye infections.

Yes if the eyeliner you use isn't clean properly and regularly or formulated for use near the eyes. Never if you sanitize the eyeliner properly after every use and only use the one that is formulated for tightlining! And the most important thing is to remove it properly!! I've been doing this for more than 10 years and I've never had eye infections.

Please don’t do this to your eyes…you have glands in your water line that secrete a substance to moisturize your eyes. The irritation of tightlining to this very delicate tissue has now caused a chronic inflammation in my eyes that persists even though I no longer tightline. This causes chronic dry eyes, a very uncomfortable (and now permanent) condition that also leads to eye redness…which is not a good look and makes you look tired all the time. My eye doctor said no one should ever apply makeup to their water lines, and I can verify…..It’s NOT worth it!

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience with tightlining and the chronic dry eyes it caused. In my opinion, when we use anything, we should aware of the risks and precautions. Whether it's tightlining, using mascara(also very close to the eyes), dyeing hair or even applying the wrong foundation or skin care products for your skin type can cause some problems. Some people do tightline without any long-term issues, it's all about understanding your own eyes and sensitivities. I've been doing this for a long time and never had any problems.

This technique made many of my lashes fall out. So maybe not for everyone or just occasionally.

I’ve never experienced any lashes fall out with this technique! Maybe you should replace your eyeliner or use a gentle makeup remover.
