$10 trigger spring also. Will drop pull weight to 2 lbs. Super easy to install.

Fact. Honestly, I have been pretty happy with the stock trigger with no adjustment. I have killed several hogs and a couple coyotes.

100% agree and if you don’t go with the proprietary tikka/Sako rings you might need a better comb height and for that the Mathew’s fabrication kydex cheek riser is budget minded and quality that really brings the t3x as a stock rifle into the almost perfect level for a no frills hunting rig! Cheers from Canada eh 🍻🇨🇦🤘

You NEED to replace the stock recoil lug. The stock one is only good for about 500 rounds before it’s no good…..

Did the same, but added a titanium recoil lug, and bolt handle. I hate that the limbsaver doesn't have a channel cut to sit correctly on the Tikka stock tho. Seems like that pad was actually for a different model but they realized it fit "well enough" on a Tikka and just sell it as though it is for one.

I’m going to buy the limbsaver. Do you think I will need a muzzle brake for a 30-06? I guess I’ll find out this spring but my feeling has always been no. The only firearm is have ever shot that bothered me was a 10 gauge, after shooting it I had a massive headache. Thanks!

If your going to be using it for hunting (im guessing you will) i would second guess having a muzzle break. Muzzle breaks work by directing gas backward to fight recoil, which means louder experience for the shooter. If your planning on not wearing ear pro or using the light weight quick ear pro that isnt super effective while hunting i would put up with the increase recoil in order to keep my hearing.
@scotteger627111 ай бұрын
@@brett9382all very true and relevant things to consider…however another way to look at it is like this… If you have a brake you can practice at the bench and get used to the rifle and get it roughly sighted in…then right before the season take off the brake, confirm zero and go hunt. You’re not going to notice the increase in recoil when shooting at a game animal…but the brake makes time at the bench more pleasant
