@Brit.knee.3 жыл бұрын
@@aishrahman6941 you REALLY have to start slow with it. Like before u even use it u gotta make sure your skin isnt broken in anyway, and that means even if youve got some dry peely patches on your cheeks or anything at all that counts as broken. So it will sting alot more than normal. U gotta be very gentle with your skin for about a week before u use it and during that week u definitely shouldnt do any kind of physical exfoliation or use any cleansers that exfoliate, then after your positive ur skin is calm and not broken at all and has no dry patches then just use a tiny bit and it wil sting at first but as long as ur skin isnt broken at all the stinging goes away very fast and u can easily rub it all over your face. The first few times its better to leave it on only 5 minutes so ur skin gets use to it ( and u should be able to leave it on comfortably for those 5 minutes with no stinging, and ur skin should not be red or irritated after washing it off. ) then after like two weeks use it up to 10 mins if u want. I use it 2 times a week and its wonderful and makes my skin soooo smooth and soft and my skin looks so good and even-toned because of it

@@Brit.knee. Thank you so much for a very through instructions which ordinary should have included in their packaging to start with . I started using retinoid a few days a week prior to that , and although I made sure I don’t use retinoid on the day that I use the peel ,my skin could have been very sensitive prior to that. I’m convinced now and I’ll give the peel another chance, but will have to leave the retinoid in the week I use the peel. 💞
@Brit.knee.3 жыл бұрын
@@aishrahman6941 yeah dont use the retinoid on the same day as u use the peel. Since the retinol can dry u out( causing broken skin) and yeah then it will be shitty. But this is only to start out with, like ome ur skin gets used to using the peel. U can absolutely put ur retinol on thr same day BUT hours later at night before u go to bed( thats actually when u are supposed to use it) so give ur face a week of mild cleansing and mild basic non scented moisturizer, it is ok to use tiny amounts of serum in ur night time routine also if that is what u have been using and ur skin is totally used to it ( and im talking about like a few drops of hyluronic acid and niacinamide after ur cleanse and followed up with basic gentle moisturizer always) after the week u should be good to go on the peel. And u will know most likely if ur skin is broken at all so yeah just keep an eye on that & Keep ur skin very moisturized and u really probably wont need to worry much about broken skin ( if u have a blemish its ok just dont mess with it and put the peel AROUND the blemish not on it NOT touching it.) Oh and one last thing about the retinol, put a nice layer of moisturizer on your face before the retinol. Put the retinol over it just a pea size amount and if u want u can put some more moisturizer over the top of the retinol if you want just to ensure that the retinol does not dry you out. But yeah just remeber never put retinol on your bare face.

Do you dermaroll everyday? If you do stop. Don't apply cream products, use light serums or nothing at all at least for the day. You skin is in truth has been damaged so now it needs to repair itself. If your skin is still breaking out or not healing the way you hope ( I can't make an assumption since I can't see what you skin is doing) go to an estheticen for a analysis (the good ones will always look and ask about your skin and your skin routine) and they may be able to suggest products that are specific to your skins dermarolling needs. I wish I can help you more but I can't do much without seeing your skin up close. the thing that angers me most about the ordinary peeling liquid kid is that he didn't remove the video after getting that reaction. He instead is keeping those views and just hoping that people go and watch the following video which most don't do. It could also be that he didn't leave it on for an hour and simply used that for shock value seeing as we can't clearly see the damage supposedly done in the second video. but leaving it up for more views is irresponsible since, again, so many young kids will go and follow suit
@archeiafaith4 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of damage was done. You can literally hear him cry plus you can see the redness in spite of the mask. Beauty Gurus SHOULD feel a responsibility to show their viewers how to use products safety. There is a lot of people who go to them for advice with their skin issues and can completely mess their skin up, even permanently scar it, if they aren't careful. No one should be going online as an influencer and demonstrating complete mis-use of a really dangerous products. Also... consumers should READ DIRECTIONS! Why is it brand's responsibility? I'd have to disagree with that. The instructions on the package are more than crystal clear and detailed, this is where their responsibility ends. They cannot control hundreds of thousands of people posting Tick Tocks incorrectly using their product. And anybody who trusts influencers more than what scientist have put as instruction on the package should get burned, or else they would never learn. Moreover, where are his parents and why have they bought him such product without even reading about it and assisting with a first application? All of this is bringing me back to the warning on microwave box saying do not dry your cat inside. It's simply not necessary to say such things to people with average or above average IQ...

I think the problem he has is that brands repost the wrong usage on their own page. Not everyone reads the instructions, some people just go to the official page of the company and if the company reposts a video of the product being used wrong, that's a huge problem because they know its not supposed to be used that way but still choose to advertise the product in this way

@@hollywood451 Wait a second, so you're telling me that people, when they intend to use it, take the product in their left hand and phone/tablet in the right and type the official website and scroll on the website to find how to use a product instead of just reading what's on the package they are holding in their hand? Yeah, it definitely is the IQ issue...

You're totally right about the damage that sun can do! I have EXTREMELY fair skin, if I was to just go outside for an hour without protection I burn so bad I peel at least 2 times and I actually get small pore size blisters all over the affected area and it's beyond painful, just to touch it feels like your poking a bruise! If someone like me followed that tik tok I would probably have to be hospitalized for 2nd degree burns! And yes, I know that sounds dramatic but I'm very serious, just forgetting to re-up on my sunblock when I'm outdoors will result in a week of full body pain and horrible peeling and about 100 more freckles on my body! I can't even imagine!

I couldn't imagine putting oil on my skin and going outside to try and tan. I've worn SPF50 and been outside for not even an hour and burnt, my body cannot physically tan 🤷

My 11 year old niece asked for the peeling solution for Christmas because she saw it on tik tok. Luckily I was able to at least warn my sister that it could cause irritation (and for an 11 year old who doesn't have any skin issues, it isn't necessary), and she took it off her list.

The ordinary clearly says to only keep it on for 10 mins max. MAX!! I’m also pretty sure they say not to put it on damaged skin (on the bottle) They could definitely be more specific about what to do and what not to do but this person clearly disregarded the explicit instructions on the bottle by using the needle and leaving it for one hour. I cannot imagine how bad his skin burned.

I'm able to handle using The Ordinary's peeling solution for an hour with no burning, irritation, redness or peeling, but my skin is very tough, and i've used acids for many years. I have to use a chemical exfoliant everyday because i always wake up with a layer of rough skin. Maybe i have an un-diagnosed skin condition. But i need a strong exfoliant to make my skin feel soft and smooth, and The Orindary's works very well for me. I understand that everyones skin is different, and my tolerance to acids is probably very rare. But i would NEVER use any chemical exfoliant with a derma roller because this causes permanent damage. (Look into granulomas caused by micro-needling used in combination with actives, particularly vitamin C. Dr. Dray has a great video on the dangers of micro-needling, and talks about this.) In my opinion, if you have minimal texture daily exfoliation is not needed, and i would stick to the recommended use of this product for maintenance. Also, i just want to add that The Ordinary's "peeling solution" is not the same as a professional strength chemical peel. Chemical peels are formulated at a much lower pH (pH
