Hi Shanti, first of all, you look enchantingly beautiful in that warm light! ...secondly, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems in publishng content on tiktok... althought for me it's certainly not news that that platform sucks! And it definitely isn't the best choice for videos that are not a few seconds of fast-cut BS & wiggly frivolities! I hope you'll keep posting more videos on youtube.

That is ludicrous. I find it very calming to watch your content and it even helps lower my anxiety and I’m sure it helps others too. Your videos are the polar opposite of graphic and violent. SMH🤦‍♀️…I do have a question and forgive me if you’ve already addressed this but when you trim off the skin of the cracks on your feet is there a reason you can’t keep going until you reach the top of the bottom of your toes? Just wondering if that layer above the cracks can be lifted off or if that’s all you can do.

The skin is far too hard/inflexible to keep clipping up and up and up toward my toes. Much easier to shave it with a blade.

I’m curious if your cuticles are painful ? I’m sooo sorry TikTok was ruining something really special . Many silly, horrible and pointless people and things in that app with no problem. I’m not on there so I am so grateful for you on youtube for many reasons. 🖤I’m annoyed this app can also be a pain. We need great creators like yourself

I just discovered your reels and I know this genetic disease must be tiring. Making these clips probably make upkeep on your hands and feet along with your child's. Your fingernails are very pretty. You don't go to a salon? I would think not. Does your skin thicken under the tip of nails? Have you ever cut your nails short so you can trim under them. I have learned so much about EPPK. Thank you for educating me.

Do you think it would help if you have a beach not far from your home you could 2-3 times a week jog up and down the beach with no shoes or socks and the friction of the sand would get some of the skin down?. Just a thought ? ❤

Hi thank you so much for sharing these videos! I have some questions though 😅 Is your skin thick enough that stepping on lego ect isnt terribly painful? Do you have finger prints/ toe prints? Do either your hands or feet get scars or do they just get healed over with more thick skin? Alot of kids get verrucas when they're young, is it possible for you to get them? Or would verrucas and worts not survive on you? How did you handle the pandemic? Im sure all the constant hand washing and hand sanetizer was awful for you!

Such good thoughtful questions! - Uneven surfaces like legos or gravel are actually SUPER painful because the skin isn't flexible so it feels like HORROR imo - Fingerprints/footprints begin in the dermal (sub-) layer of the skin so I do have them there but because I don't have normal skin in the epidermal (outer) layer of skin, they are covered up - I do not get scars on my calloused skin... definitely cut myself badly in the early days of learning to shave the skin off but no permanent changes after healing - I did get a wart on the bottom of my toe once and had it removed with dry ice and it fell off. Never had another one. So yes apparently I can still get them under the callous - I chose not to use hand sanitizer because it absorbs into the callous and makes it gummy and awful-feeling. I just washed (and then re-lotioned) my hands as much as possible :)
